Saban doesn’t like the state of the game, so now that everyone can do what his bama program was doing for yrs, he doesn’t like it. lol see ya hypocrite

So true. They’ve given Dodge chargers, moved kids to new high schools to get their grades up in a “friendly” environment, put mommas in houses and jobs. Alabama had an unfair advantage all these years to put all those five stars on these Alabama teams. Now that everybody can do it all of a sudden Alabama will become just another team. Sabin knows that he sees the writing on the wall. He’s getting out while his image is still as a great football coach, but the truth is he always had a non-equitable advantage. The red elephant club is a real, discipline, and strong, cheating network that has been in place for years. Now buying players is free for everyone.

Show us facts and not just run off at the mouth.

i have little doubt myself that Bama boosters gave $$$$ stuff (probably with Saban's willful blind eye), didn't everyone do it?
isn't he retiring because he's old?........... have his recruiting classes been suffering due to the new world of NIL?
i do think he's hypocritical to whine about new money culture when his players, like players at most top 25 programs, were getting paid somehow all these years.

Yes. They are worse. The REC IS A REAL THING. I live down here and know someone in the A club and there is a point person in every community. If you have a stud athlete in your market that Saban wants it is on that point to get that kid. These deals go on without the schools knowledge and the head coach nor school knows any details and only the “booster” is on the rope. These are business leaders from communities all over the South. From car dealers, lawyers, to high school coaches to the guy I know that owns a Chevron gas station that is a local TV personality that has more power in the community than the mayor. This network started under the Bear, The network fell apart under Dubose and Shula mostly because those two coaches didn’t feed the beast. The REC was rejuvenated under Saban as he told the AD at the time he needed players to turn Alabama around.
His first year they landed the number 1 class in the country and basically did so all of Saban’s tenure. That just didn’t happen. Those kids were bought in different ways.
Over the years I’ve gotten to know this guy real well and can listen to his stories all day long. I’ll go have a coke and hang out during lunch. He has been in the “A” club since the Bear coached and is probably 85 years old now. He’s in the box with ex players and coaches at the games on Saturdays. At his age he talks without a filter because he doesn’t give a shit. Has no fear.
BTW, he delivered several players by giving them leased cars, cash and grades.
So when Saban holds that trophy know that it was bought. He is a good coach but not good enough to accomplish what he has without a fixed deck.

I’ll add this. I’ve worked in corporate finance in television for 24 years now. I’ve played in multiple of these celebrity pro ams where he was and have spoken to Saban two times in the cocktail hour and the guy is as genuine and humble as anybody you’ll meet. He is respectful and real, unlike so many “stars”. I like the guy.
