Following their loss to Georgia a week ago, the Crimson Tide head to Knoxville looking to get back on track. In this classic SEC showdown, I've found a few player props worth dabbling in, including another big outing from Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell.
Without further ado, here are my Alabama vs. Tennessee prop picks.
Before you get too far, be sure to check out all of our college football picks for Week 7.
Best Alabama vs Tennessee props
Prop pick #1: Keelon Russell Over 240.5 Pass Yards (53.27%)
Alabama star sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell should be amped up to bounce back after an underwhelming 16-for-30, 185-yard performance with just one touchdown in the Crimson Tide's loss to Georgia.
That said, it came against arguably the best defense in the country. It was Russell's worst performance since throwing for just 188 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 2 against Kentucky.
Over six games this season, Russell still averages more than this prop at 266.5 passing yards per game. He draws a Tennessee defense that has shut down quarterbacks all season, allowing just 185 passing yards per game.
However, what elite quarterback have the Volunteers actually shut down?
"Well, they held Arch Manning to just 201 yards."
Oh, like that holds up in the year of our Lord 2026. Russell is far better than Manning and has faced far tougher competition this season than what this Volunteers pass defense has seen. Coming off a matchup against one of the country's best defenses, the sophomore should clear 240 passing yards on Saturday.
Take this up to 250.5 passing yards.
Prop pick #2: DeSean Bishop Over 89.5 Rush Yards (50.74%)
With Tennessee's run-heavy offense averaging nearly 43 rushing attempts per game this season, I don't expect that approach to change on Saturday against a very talented Alabama run defense.
Over their last three games against Texas, Auburn, and Arkansas, the Volunteers still average 38.33 attempts per game. Tennessee should lean on its leading rusher, DeSean Bishop, to move the ball downfield.
Last week against Georgia, this Crimson Tide defense showed some flaws when junior running back Dwight Phillips Jr. rushed for 120 yards on just 17 carries.
That's the same number of carries Bishop averages per game this season, and Alabama is coming off a game where it struggled to stop the run. Bishop is averaging 113 yards per game and more than six yards per carry this season.
If he gets his usual workload, he should be in a great spot to record 90-plus rushing yards on Saturday.
Take this up to 95+ yards.
Prop pick #3: Keelon Russell Over 24.5 Rush Yards (53.49%)
I gave out this same prop last week, so I'll start this one the same way: If you can secure Russell's longest rush over 15.5 yards, take it! Russell has surpassed that mark in every game this season.
Plus, the longest rush prop eliminates the possibility of sacks taking away rushing yards, so if you can access it, take it Over his standard rushing yards prop at 25+.
However, Russell has still rushed for Over 25 yards in four of his six games this season. The sophomore quarterback is averaging 7.66 rushing attempts per game, and with the Crimson Tide likely to be leading, as the spread indicates, they'll eventually want to chew some clock.
That should give Russell plenty of chances to rack up yards on the ground.
The last mobile quarterback Tennessee faced was Auburn's Byrum Brown, who averages 16.2 rushing attempts per game and racked up more than 107 rushing yards against the Volunteers.
Russell just needs 25 and should have plenty of opportunities on Saturday.
Take this up to 30+ rushing yards.
