 Fever @ Storm: Fever +8.5

Heading into the short little break the Fever were playing good ball with Boston hitting her stride and Fever winning four of their last five games. Storm have a good line up this season and have come together nicely lately with Nneka, Skylar Loyd and Ezi playing good ball together. I just feel that 3-4 baskets is a little too much for an Indy team finally playing well after a shaky start

outmatched and out muscled but I do think that the Fever can keep this game within the number. Early season, miracles can happen and still don’t like Liberty with all their all-stars in one team. Seem to be disjointed and Clark opens her home season tonight with the crowd probably at capacity as well

Liked the look of Charles and Rhyne Howard together. Definitely a solid team this season

Like this Atlanta team this year and the additions they made. Start off bright I believe whilst the Sparka struggle to find any chemistry

LA Sparks: Prediction 12th

Lost a fan fav with Nneka going to Seattle. This team looks horrible. Brink is the rookie that’s behind Clark, she may shine but doubt it will be consistent. Nurse never shows me any quality, might have one good game in 7. Hamby appears to be the leader of the team but can only do so much. It’s an ugly team on paper with a lot of misfits and just don’t see them having more that 300% record

Minnesota Lynx: Prediction 9th - 11th

The team looks ok on paper but when you actually dive into each players individual stats it’s not that strong. Collier will lead this team but doesn’t have much back up. Added Courtney Williams, Heideman, Epoupa (French guard) and taking two rookies into the season. Miller may shine some games after her first season but they are missing some talent and just don’t see Reeves getting these girls into the playoffs 

Washington Mystics: Prediction: 9th - 11th

Massive overhaul, EDD taking a break from ball, Cloud moved to Phoenix and they decided to take Jade Melbourne from Seattle (great young Aussie player). Dont have much to say, they kept Walker-Kimbrough, Atkins, Hines-Allen and Austin but I truly don’t see this team being competitive for the longer season 

Chicago Sky: Prediction 8th - 10th

Rebuilding stage and they may make the playoffs but doubt it. Roster looks weak, disjointed and missing pieces. They may upset a few teams but also may not show up. Brother back DeShields who I think is on a downward spiral, kept Mabrey who is great on her day and added Onyenwere, Chennedy Carter (massive tool), Harrison and Brianna Turner. Dont see them doing much at all this year

Dallas Wings: Prediction 6th - 8th

For those that have followed me, you know how much I have disliked Arike. Ball hog, silly shots and just so up and down. She isn’t a leader. They have kept their core with Howard, McCowan, Arike, Sabally but they are going into this season with 5 rookies which is just too many IMO. See them just slipping into the playoffs with a record around 500

Indiana Fever: Prediction 6th - 8th

I do think they make the playoffs this year as Clark is a freak and they also have Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Wheeler, Fagbenle and a few other not so shabby players. Exciting team to watch who won’t play much defense and will try and win games purely on offense

Seattle Storm: Prediction 5th - 8th

Big mix up in Seattle. Nneka has joined from LA, they also added Vivians and Skylar Diggins. Mix that in with Loyd, Magbegor, Whitcomb and Russell and you have a good WNBA team on paper. Like Sklyar in this team compared with Mercury. Think Seattle can play good ball as long as Loyd doesn’t brick her shots 

Phoenix Mercury: Prediction 4th - 6th

Griner, Taurasi, Cloud, Cunningham and Rebecca Allen is a great squad. Cloud and Taurasi IMHO is a great mix of guards as DT has always loved to score whilst Cloud provides many assists and doesn’t score much. Mix that with Griner who now has a season under her belt after Russia and then they have added a few others. Strong team on paper, just need to stay healthy 

Atlanta Dream: Prediction 4th-6th

Yep, I think it’s their time to shine this season as they have added players such as Tina Charles, Aerial Powers, Jordin Canada and Crystal Dangerfield whilst keeping Rhyne Howard, Alisha Gray and Cheyenne Parker. They will be one of the better teams this year amongst the middle of the pack 

Connecticut Sun: Prediction: 2nd-4th 

Team has had some changes but still have Bonner, Jones, Thomas. Added Egbo, Astou-Fall, Tiffany Mitchell, Jefferson and Banham. Great looking squad and do see them being strong at home as usual and making the top 4. 

New York Liberty: Prediction 1st - 2nd 

Just like LV, don’t see much changing here with Jonquel, Stewie, Vandersloot, Laney and Sabally. They will tough it out again I believe with LV. They do have a weak bench which is a concern for them if they suffer some big injuries 

Las Vegas Aces: Prediction 1st - 2nd

Dont see how anything really changes with this team. Kept their core squad and their bench has great height and more experience. Parker retired but probably a good thing. When you have Plum, Young, Wilson, Gray and Clark you’re doing fine.
