You won't win a debate with the plate ump so why get him against you?

I think we do need more knuckle ball pitchers. Catchers have a difficult time catching them and that ought to tell you about how successful they are against hitters.

As as ex-pitcher if you have a strong wind blowing into the plate it renders KB's and curve balls virtually useless. However if you have a strong wind blowing at the pitcher the curve ball and KB's will have massive breaks.

This is a variant of the system I used last nite on TB ML which looked impossible. The system pulled it out though.

Batters should eventually figure out that pitchers are going to be almost 100% fastballs coming with a runner on 3rd to avoid a 54 foot curve ball that ties the game.
