OG is a prediction market platform unveiled by Crypto.com in 2026. It allows users to predict outcomes of real-world events in sports, politics, culture, and finance. The trading is structured around buying and selling simple “yes” or “no” contracts.

To get a little technical for a moment, these predictions are event contracts, derivative products offered by Crypto.com | Derivatives North America (CDNA), a Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)-regulated exchange powered by OG technology. 

A typical binary market you’ll find at OG.com is “Will the Seattle Seahawks win Big Game LX?” You can either buy contracts on the “yes” or “no” side. 

Each contract offered costs between $0.01 and $1.00. The higher a contract’s price is, the higher the probability that a prediction will be correct, according to the public. Correct predictions settle at $1.00, while incorrect ones settle at $0.00.

Is OG.com legal?

Yes, OG.com is legal and available almost nationwide. The only states that do not allow residents to register are New York and Arizona. It is regulated at the federal level by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, under its parent company, Crypto.com.

In addition, trading on sports with prediction market apps is banned for users in a handful of states, including Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, Nevada, and Ohio. However, users in those states can still trade in other markets, such as entertainment or economics.

OG customer service

Crypto.com has received its fair share of complaints about its customer support, and it appears OG might be stuck in the same boat. The “Support” button on OG directs users to its Help Center, but there are no proper chat, phone, or email support options.

There is a live chat button, but it is fully operated by an AI assistant that just cycles through the same information as the Help Center articles.

As OG grows, we expect it to offer a range of customer support options, enabling it to better address users’ questions and concerns. But for now, these options remain limited.

OG payment methods

OG offers users a respectable number of payment methods. Users can deposit funds using debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH bank transfers, and wire transfers.

For now, withdrawals can only be requested via ACH bank transfers through Plaid, which is a bit disappointing.

However, we expect OG to expand its banking options soon, including the addition of cryptocurrency support, given its connection to Crypto.com.

OG app review

OG users can access the prediction markets platform via its website or app. Its HTML5-responsive website is well-designed, making it easy to navigate the various markets and trading opportunities. Its Android and iOS apps (size 133.4 MB) look similar and are equally easy to navigate, so both are good options.

However, we noticed some sections of the app that were unresponsive or loaded more slowly than expected. If we had to guess, OG is likely still working out the app’s kinks since it's newly launched. For now, we will stick with the mobile website, but we expect the app to only get better. 

The most recent update in March 2026 introduced exciting new features and enhancements, bringing it to Version 1.0.8.

OG has established a referral program for users. It works like this:

1. First, you need to complete at least $50 worth of trades.
2. Then click on “Refer and get $150” in your portfolio.

From there, both referrers and referees can earn bonuses. You earn $10 after the referee completes $100 in trades, $30 after they complete $500 in trades, $60 once they complete $1,000 in trades, and $150 after they complete $2,500 in trades.

OG.com trading odds and fees

OG.com does not actually set or control the prices for event contracts; it simply hosts the markets. Instead, prices are entirely dictated by how the public buys and sells contracts. Each market also offers only two trading options —“yes” or “no”— further simplifying the process of buying and selling contracts.

The price of each side indicates the public's confidence that it will happen. The higher the price, the greater the probability, so a contract priced at $0.70 has a 70% chance of happening, according to the public. 

Contract prices may fluctuate after you purchase them, based on how many other users are trading them. You maintain the right to sell your position at any point, either for a profit or a loss, according to the market price. 

Although OG isn’t involved in determining contract prices, it does charge users fees. Opening a position includes a fee of $0.02 per $1 contract. No fees are charged when it is settled. However, if you sell your contracts early, you will incur an additional fee of $0.02 per contract.

OG rewards and VIP perks

Crypto.com has both a "Level Up" rewards program and a VIP program. I suspect that OG.com will follow suit and offer the same. The expectation is that OG will leverage Crypto.com’s existing partnerships with organizations like the UFC and Formula 1 to make these programs worthwhile. However, for now, we don’t have much information about any potential OG rewards program. 

How does OG.com compare to traditional sports betting?

Prediction market platforms like OG.com and traditional sports betting both allow users to profit from many of the same sporting events. However, the structure and legal status of the two differ significantly.

OG is a peer-to-peer exchange that allows users to buy and sell contracts, much like buying and selling stocks. Its prices fluctuate based on trading volume, and there is no central authority – like “the house” – setting prices or accepting bets. 

Traditional sports betting, meanwhile, involves sportsbook users wagering on sporting events with fixed odds. The odds are set by the sportsbook and can change at any time to maximize its own interests, balancing bets and making a profit. Users are betting against the sportsbooks and paying a vig to participate.

OG.com trading limits and liquidity

Some prediction market platforms limit the number of trades users can make and the profits they can earn. OG.com does not limit winning traders, subject to market liquidity and overall platform limits.

While users won’t need to worry about OG’s trading limits, liquidity should be a top concern. Markets with low liquidity are less stable, sometimes leading to dramatic price fluctuations and making it difficult to enter or exit. High-liquidity markets attract more trading and are therefore more stable with fewer price changes.
