After blowing a 23-6 lead against the Calgary Stampeders last weekend, the Toronto Argonauts will have a chance to exact quick revenge when these two teams match up at BMO Field in Week 10.

My Stampeders vs. Argonauts predictions are putting a halt to panic surrounding their fourth-quarter meltdown, as explained in my best CFL picks for Friday, August 9.

My analysis
21 unanswered points by the Calgary Stampeders saw the Toronto Argonauts lead vanish at McMahon Stadium last week, as Ryan Dinwiddie's squad dropped to 4-4. No lead is safe in the CFL, and the Argos' latest meltdown caused markets to open with Calgary slightly favored in Friday's rematch.

However, the line has since moved in Toronto's favor, and for good reason. Take away the fourth-quarter miscues and Toronto remains the superior side, boasting a stout front seven led by linebacker Wynton McManis, along with defensive linemen Folarin Orimolade and Jake Ceresna. This unit is allowing only 68.0 rushing yards per game and limited quarterback Jake Maier to just 177 yards of passing offense in Week 9.

With running back Dedrick Mills spearheading a bleak Calgary offense that generates just 342.0 yards of net offense per game, the Argos should neutralize the ground game and lean on their own running back to drive offensive production. Calgary's defense remains shaky heading into Friday, allowing 7.5 yards per play while generating just 1.8 sacks per contest.

Boasting a 3-1 record at BMO Field this season, take the Argos to exact revenge following last week's meltdown.

Stampeders vs Argonauts same-game parlay (SGP)

Argonauts moneyline

Ka'Deem Carey Over 68.5 rushing yards

As the Argos quarterback situation remains rocky with Chad Kelly suspended and Cameron Dukes injured, the Argos ought to be reliant on their star running back in Friday's rematch.

Ka'Deem Carey has been exceptional in his first season with the Boatmen, averaging 5.2 yards per attempt with a league-leading 14+ carries of 10 yards or more. Despite seeing just eight touches in last week's loss to Calgary, expect Toronto to let Carey go to work against a Stamps defense that is allowing a league-worst 6.2 yards/rush.
