UFC 253 odds for the Main Event and Co-Main Event

Israel Adesanya vs Paulo Costa

Adesanya (-175) is fresh off a unanimous decision victory over Yoel Romero and is now 19-0 in his MMA career, with recent UFC victories over Anderson Silva, Kevin Gastelum and Robert Whittaker.

The Last Stylebender is arguably the best striker in the UFC and uses his length, quickness and kicking ability to devastating effect. His crisp counter-punching led to the knockout of Whittaker last October, while he defeated Romero with a more technical (some might say boring) strategy.

Paulo "The Eraser" Costa might be the underdog but Sportsbooks certainly aren't sleeping on the challenger, giving him odds of +150. Costa is also undefeated in his career, going 13-0 including 5-0 in the UFC. The 29-year-old is also coming off a decision victory over Romero but had won each of his previous five fights by TKO.

The Brazilian comes from a background in BJJ but loves to mix it up on his feet and has tremendous power and explosiveness. He's also not shy to go after other fighters on social media, saying that Whittaker vs Til was an "ugly fight" and calling Adesanya "afraid" while making racist remarks in a since-deleted tweet.

Dominick Reyes vs Jan B?achowicz

Reyes vs. B?achowicz will be the co-main event at UFC 253 as the two fighters battle for a title that Jon Jones held for the majority of the last decade. Dominick "The Devastator" Reyes (-275) faced Jones at UFC 247 in February and lost via unanimous decision. It was a very close fight however, with 14 of 21 media outlets scoring the fight in favor of Reyes.

The Devastator is 12-1 in his MMA career and 6-1 at the UFC level with the decision against Jones the only defeat on his resume. The 30-year-old is a terrific athlete who twice made the All-Conference team while playing safety for the Stony Brook Seawolves.

Jan B?achowicz (+225) is No. 3 in the UFC light heavyweight rankings and has won seven of his last eight fights, including three in a row against Corey Anderson, Ronaldo Souza and Luke Rockhold. The 37-year-old is the former KSW light heavyweight champ and has gone 26-8 in his MMA career, including 9-5 in the UFC.
