I use Coinbase to buy Bitcoin then deposit into my offshore. And then offshore back to Coinbase then to my my bank.
I just received changes to my 2020 return saying I now owe almost 8k due to “securities” or now “taxable income”. I have never had this before and it is all from Coinbase.
If someone has had this and found a way out please let me know. I had no clue my winnings were going to be taxed : ( And I have to reply to them by November 11th fml.

This is a big deal and you can tell who is a broke ass loser on the forum because some of these guys claiming to bet 'multiple dimes' never mention how they are dealing with taxes.
