Abregu/Bradley, undercard

Angulo runs down Alcine and knocks him out. No shocker here. I'm guessing he'll get it done before 8.5 rounds, so I'm taking the under 8.5 at -150.

I don't really like the fact Bradley is moving up and fighting a wild ass fighter in Abregu. Abregu is nothing more than a "toughman" style of fighter that gets puts on his ass and returns the favor. Bradley gains nothing with a win and could lose it all with a bullshit loss.

Bradley has the pop to drop Abregu. Abregu is wild enough to get a flash knockdown vs Bradley (like Holt did) but who knows if he'll land one against the superior Bradley.

I do like this bet... fight won't go 1:30 into round 10 at -116. It's almost free money IMO.

Might have been stopped too early, but it was coming sooner than later. Angulo remains a fun fighter to watch.

Exactly. He has a chance to stop anyone in the division and he'll probably be a 2/1, 3/1 dog when he finally does stop someone of note...

Also, I would like to see Bradley get upset, or at least in a war. That's the only question I have left about Bradley - does he have the guts to pull one out after being in trouble. Holt had him down but never had him in any trouble...

I agree on your thoughts about him at 147. However, Through 4 I'm not sure this gets all that interesting. Then again, that cut woke Abregu up a bit..

He's hitting Abregu with the kitchen sink and Abregu keeps coming. I think the 1-2 can't miss when Bradley comes rushing in, cuz he comes in straight down the pipe. If I had money on Bradley I wouldnt be too worried, but I wouldn't be thinking the next 6 rounds are a lock. He's been caught at smaller weights.

Too small imho. I can see Berto smoking Bradley out. And I don't have that much of a high regard for Berto.

Bradley vs Alexander is a helluva fight.  I think it'll be a while before we see Khan mixing it up with any of these guys.

I knew I smelled  rat Bradley jumped to 147 so he can try to get a fight with Pac-man, because the 140 division  is  getting great and he leaves it makes no sense.

He doesn't have enough power at 147, he needs to go back to 140 asap.

I cannot blame the guy for jumping to the money, he knows Floyd won't make a decision until after his Uncle goes to court it's why the deadline passed, they will meet up in November Pac/Floyd assuming his Uncle beats the charges.

If not I feel Margarito will be chosen, people say Cotto II what can Miguel Cotto possibly do different than the first fight? Emanuel Steward is a smart man he is like Freddie Roach he chooses his fighters opponents very carefully.

I would love to see Devon Alexander against Bradley, after seeing Bradley many times as good as he looks there is something "off" with him that I cannot pinpoint maybe it's when he gets tagged he goes to brawl and has to still be reminded NOT to BRAWL.

I believe Devon Alexander is too big, too slick, too good.

As Danno said it will be a while before we see Khan with either of the two he just made his splash in the U.S Freddie needs to milk it a bit :)

One name that I can see Bradley fighting is Maidana he's the easiest out of the three to beat, yes a hell of a puncher but skills wise the easiest out of the three.

Only if we could get a tournament :) Would be some amazing boxing matches for us to see :)

                                          

One thing about Bradley moving up to welter is that this wasn't his first choice.  He was scheduled to fight Maidana, but Marcos pulled out with a back injury which everyone was skeptical about.  From what I've read and understand, Bradley took this fight as a sort of last resort, when he couldn't get any of the fights he wanted at 140.  He called out Pac, but we know that isn't happening.  I think he's certainly going back to 140.
