I keep scratching my head at why Julio is such a big underdog. Ok, so the fight is in California. Angulo is the promoted fighter on the card. But really?
Julio was as highly touted as Angulo a couple of years ago. He lost a UD to Carlos Quintana at 147, then struggled against lightly regarded Cosme Rivera and won a SD. He blamed those performances on weight and moved up. He was 21 years old at the time.
He then wins 6 straight, including wins over K-9 Bundrage and Ishe Smith. He lost a UD to Dzinziruk in Germany... then the Kirkland masacre. What people seem to forget is that Kirkland would be OWNING this division if he didn't get sent to prison ala Plaxico.
Angulo is a solid fighter. Good pop, applies pressure, good body puncher, etc. However, he is quite slow. He throws crisp shots so it usually isn't a problem against the likes of Harry Joe Yorgy. Against a very talented young fighter like Julio it might be. I know exactly what Angulo's camp was thinking.... pressure him like Kirkland and you'll break him. Angulo isn't Kirkland. I feel they made a VERY big mistake putting him in against a fighter like Julio.
Julio has equal pop, younger, more experience and a moderate hand speed advantage. He might get robbed if it goes the distance, if not, I think he'll get it done.

I see Arreola having a lot of trouble finding Adamek early in this fight. Adamek should be able to bank some rounds, then it gets interesting. If Arreola does find Adamek, but not often, how will it be scored? Can Adamek hurt Arreola? So many questions, so little answers.
I do know that Adamek should be get through the first half of the fight. I don't know if Arreola will have the talent or gas to stop a vet like Adamek late in a fight after he is hunting all night.
