After 8 rounds he was ahead on the cards last night, 4 rounds apiece but he had the legit knockdown.   Martinez was always a horrible style for him,  and he&#x27;s exceptional.    So let us all know your amazing accomplishment that tops being middleweight champion.. l

No doubt Pavlik lost that fight,  hated that style matchup when it was announced.  Sure, Pavlik has his limitations but still became MW champ of the world with them and his limited small town trainer.  Taylor 1 was his peak fight,  snappy jab and all.   Did you really have to pull the freakin race card and mention skin color???  Let me guess, your a North Carolina Negro?   I can confidently  say Jermain Taylor was overrated for barely scraping by a weight drained Hopkins, whose body was dying to get to LHW and I guess Pavlik proved that by ruining Taylor..... and I don&#x27;t need to look for some bullshite skin color angle.

no hassle punchmaster, I am from NC for certain, 54 year year middle class white guy, not trying to cause any racial ruckus here, just stating that it seems to me pavlik has been a little overblown as the great white hope and hasnt really delivered as many had expected, again , not trying to hate , just some lively chat here in the covers forum , excellent point on your behalf on taylor  as I would agree way overhyped and he to failed to deliver, be well Mr PunchMaster , and always remember,  "In gambling the many must lose in order that the few may win"~~~George Bernard Shaw~~~

He knocked out Taylor to win the Middleweight championship. He might not be an elite fighter but he is a good fighter. He could still win the rematch. The cuts played a major part of the fight.

When I saw the plodding Pavlik walking to the ring at 178, tried to slam down on matador Martinez ,  too late, but I didn&#x27;t dare put a penny down on Pavlik with that style matchup because I wanted to remain amongst the few that George Bernard was taking about...

Can&#x27;t offer too much on this to be honest.    If Floyd couldn&#x27;t stop aging small Marquez, I don&#x27;t see him stopping bigger, iron chinned Shane so FMJ by dec seems most logical pick.  If I can offer anything more from my perch here in Vegas,  will do..
