can anyone on this forum give me one good reason not to drop a goddamn bomb on alexander at -1230? i have tried to look at this from an objective point of view but i see absolutely no angle to not hammering the shit our of this. please don't say that -1230 is too much risk, i already know that. aside from turning an ankle, there is no way aleaxnder loses in my opinion. i would love to parlay this shit up with some of my UFC shit but i can't on my current books. any feedback is appreciated and good luck to all.

Only risk I can see is that Devon seems like he is overlooking Koletnik. I have seen interviews with Devon where he is talking about how important it is to "put on a show in St. Louis" and how much he is looking forward to facing Bradley after he wins.
We saw what happened when Cory Spinks fought Zab in St. Louis and was a big favorite.
I clearly think Devon will win, but I'm just a little worried about his attitude going into the fight.

thanx for feed back msn. i looked at that but aside from him totally fucking off, this fight sets him up for huge multiple paydays down the road. given his background he seems very levelheaded in all the interviews i have seen. i'm going to sit and wait awhile but i have no doubt i will be pounding this shit into oblivion before the night is over. good luck to you sir.

I like to go with moderate to high favorites, but even -1200 is too high for me [shit, he was -900 the other day I think]. Not playing with a small roll either. 6k to make 5h doesn't sound tasty to me...unless you plan on parlaying it with a few. Thats just me though. When the line was -900 I read an article that was talking about even that was too high.
I'm sure Devon is going to win though.

Devon Alexander is Don Kings meal ticket back into boxing.
-1230 is a bit steep but if you have the money to lay out don't see why not.
Mcnulty is right he was -900 the other day and shot up.. in my eyes doesn't make a difference what the price is Koletnik has almost no chance of winning, no power and will basically be a sparring session for Alexander, only tiny window is if Devon gets cute and goes for a KO too soon with a guy who has a great chin.
I wouldn't parlay this with anything, while I like Glen Johnson well it's still a tough fight, Corey Spinks I've always liked but if he's pawning stuff .. doesn't bode well for us bettors.
Kind of like last week.. if I knew Casamayor owed his paycheck to the IRS I would have never even thought of taking him at all. Luckily 5dimes saved me and didn't have a point prop when I bet so I saved a loss, but if Mcnulty is right .. maybe that's a fight to stay away from.
Maybe 5dimes will offer a Prop will Corey Spinks get his belt back from the Pawn Shop:)
Good luck,

Just put in a 1u for .5u on Spinks. I've been somewhat dormant the past few months but dipping my toe in the waters tonight. I didn't do much of a cap, just a gut feeling tonight.
Did some digging and Cunningham is out and McGirt is in as trainer, for that right there I deserve to lose...lol. Meanwhile, K9 is with Steward.
But, fight is in St. Louie, K9 is a bum and nothing Manny can do about it...I'm hoping. Spinks still has a name and that's big. Get the win tonight and put his name with another name at jr mid because its heating up. K9 needs KD's and/or a KO to win tonight.
Spinks has been out 16 months, but K9 has been out 12. This fight was to have taken place a few months back but DKP didn't want to be on FNF and make no money with this card being scheduled so close together. What I'm saying is there was more time for preparation/camp/etc.
Spinks is slick and being southpaw presents problems for K9. K9 says he's going to box and Cory said he's prepared to bang but do everything necessary to win. Talent gap is too big here imo.

Your talking about the rematch I'm assuming. Spinks did win the first fight and Zab did ko him. Zab was a beast 5 years ago, hits hard and quickest hands in the biz imo. K9 ain't no Zab either. If Forbes, Sechew, Julio and a old ass Brewer can beat K9, I can't see how Spinks can't.

I've always been a fan of Corey Spinks, I know many dislike him because he doesn't have a power punch.. but he's a decent fighter.
He did well against Zab Jermain Taylor and many others... my only question is with these aging fighters are they in it to win it or in it or for a pay check?
Maybe I like fighters that suck, but I've always been a fan of Corey Spinks, he's been in some great matches and is willing to trade even though he doesn't have a power punch to speak of.

Glenn is looking good. Cloud is growling at the instruction and whiffing a lot in the 1st round. I shoulda went with Johnson. Size difference is notable. Deep waters is looking ugly for Cloud.
