Amir Con is a fraud

The fraud wants no part of Mattyse.  Notice how he said he wants Morales if he wins?  Lucas is a better version of Maidana.  He's the most underated fighter @ 140.  Notice how he said he wants Robert Guerro if he wins vs Maidana?  He wants no part of Maidana again.  This guy is looking for the easiest fight out there.

He don't call it, he has managers that guide his career.

How is he a fraud, when Tim Bradley (#1 in division) called him out and Khan agreed to a 50/50 split (generous on his part cause he is a big draw in Britain, would have been a career high purse for Bradley) and Bradley said no, he is probably looking to fight names to make money. Matthysee don't have a name yet, he lost 2 close fights to Jadah (who Khan just destroyed) and Alexander (supposedly weight drained, close fight, he didn't do enough to win in Alexander's hometown), Morales on the other hand is a living legend and would be a big money maker in Britain. Plus he already beat Maidana so they won't fight again anytime soon.

because boxing is so dangerous you are SUPPOSED to first look for the high-reward / low-risk fights. Tough fights kill brain cells, slow reflexes, dull punch resistance, etc..I can't criticize Khan's team for being smart.

Khan is ready but not yet in his prime. Bradley's a tougher fight than Maidana or Mattyse and Khan wanted him. I don't think Khan's a fraud. At 140 he's the best long-range fighter, and he's even one of the best "long-range" boxers in the game lb4lb. Let him settle down a bit and expand his inside and counter-punching skills and he'll be a true lb4lber. But he'll always have a bad chin. Not even Frreddie Roach can fix that.

I think Guerrero at 140 is better than both Lucas and Maidana

All fighters are different and have different views on their career and how they forsee it. Throughout time their views change just like everything. Basically you don't want to be a war-torn fighter before you have a title fight or get big money fights.
Back to Khan being called Con. His last 7 bouts show a well paced well perofrming fighter.

2009-12-05 Dmitriy Salita 30-0-1 (Undefeated opponent).
2010-05-15 Paul Malignaggi 27-3-0 (Paul just defeated Juan Diaz. Paul only lost to Cotto, Hatton and to Diaz in a fight many felt he won and did on the rematch.)
2010-12-11 Marcos Rene Maidana 29-1-0 (Maidana had 1 controversial split decision loss to Kotelnyk. Maidana had 29 wins with 27 by knockout.)
2011-04-16 Paul McCloskey 22-0-0 (Undefeated opponent.)
2011-07-23 Zab Judah 41-6-0 (Under-achiever. Great skills but lacks in performance. He was on his longest win streak since he was undefeated and seemed to finally have that overall balance of physical and mental skill. He was totally dominated and KOd, and protested it was a low blow. The reality was he didn't want to fight anymore and needed a reason to quit. It was impressive because no fighter dominated Judah like that and he is a smarter fighter and physically still the same.
Conclusion: Yes now he should be fighting premiere opponents but many fighter won't fight him. Why fight such a skilled fighter when you have many other fighter available that have name recognition and would be an easier opponent for most.

LRM704: How dare you question JB89's integrity. After all, he told the world that MargaCheato would demolish Cotto and make Mexico proud! I think many of his fans didn't want to believe he was using illegal wraps and endangering his opponents to a high degree in order to win. Now once he got caught, 3 out of 4 fights he got demolished. Mosley's trainer caught him before the fight, and all of a sudden the unstoppable force got knocked around and didn't have that extra energy (it's a mental advantage when you know that the longer the fight goes, you are going to hit so much harder while your opponent fatigues and is weaker) and got TKO'd in the ninth! Manny helped Antonio with his facial alterations and once again he got smacked around for twelve rounds. The rematch against Cotto he won only one round in the judges scoring until the tenth round where he once again was TKO'd! Sure they will say he was old, or warn down, but the fact is simple... he was never SH1T without plaster in his wraps!
  
    Now it is very clear he used wraps for a long time and I doubt if any Mexican fans would be keeping or hanging posters of him or allowing him to speak at schools in Mexico about honesty and fair play!

By who the ref in his opponents hometown, has that ref ever done a world title fight before? Terrible job taking points in a close fight.

Jerseyboy89: For once I maybe agree. A former college football coach's team lost to a last play TD, but replay showed the opponent team was short over 1 yard. At a press conference he stated "Everyone makes mistakes including refs, but if you want to win a game, don't leave it in the refs hands. We had plenty opportunity to be up several TD's but failed to convert. We have no one to blame but ourselves."
Yes boxing is more corrupt and fixed, but if you KO an opponent, nothing is left up to anyone but a victory for you. Bad refs can cause probs, deduct points, and judges can be paid off... in boxing you can KO an opponent an win at any time if you have the skill. Other sports do not provide that opportunity and refs can cost sport teams a game.
I didn't follow the fight closely, or replay it yet, but Peterson fought decent enough to put doubt in the minds, and how many fights have we seen hometown decision especially this year?
