22-1 odds right now on my book that Mayweather and Hatton end in a draw. I could see it happening.
Plus I read a post earlier about a rumor in vegas about the fight possibly being fixed to end in a draw so that they can get paid and set up a big rematch. I could see it happening. Might just put 100 bucks on this and see what happens

True true. But boxing is a corrupt sport and nothing would surprise me with this match so with 22-1 odds on the fight being a draw, i'll take a little peice and see what happens
Best of luck tonight

No sport is anywhere close to corrupt as is boxing. Wouldn't shock me one bit if this is a controversial draw tonight where both fighters "act" like they've been cheated somehow.
A draw absolutely gurantees a re-match of epic proportions with staggering money involved for everyone.
Probably a rumor, but the latest one is that these 2 tonight are both on the take and have clear orders to make the fight go distance, where it will be ruled a draw so more money can be made sometime later on in 2008.

Very smart move to hammer the draw at +2200.

I don't see a fight being fixed for a draw. I just don't understand how that would even work. It would take both fighters being involved to keep the appearance of a dead even match, and the cooperation of all of the judges. Right? Correct me if I am wrong. But that would be an awful lot. Hell even if you get them all to agree, who's to say one doesn't say fuck it and kill the other and take the win.
I can see one side being fixed for a win but I don't see a fix in favor of a draw. It may happen though nonetheless.

Oh, it would take a lot of work and money, but all Hatton and Floyd would have to do is make it go distance. If one gets the other in trouble, then the one takes his foot off the gas a little and lets the other recover.
The judges would have to vote a set way, and that would be the hard part, cause if there is any controversy, they won't be judging anymore and would have to be paid well to fix everything.
But if a draw can be pulled off, especially if both fighters can play like they've been fckued, then a re-match of staggering potential is coming down the pike.
I don't care who you are.....Floyd or Hatton.......both of them have a price.
But..........before anyone crucifies me, I DO NOT think that this fight is being fixed to a draw. It's all a bunch of rumor crap that always comes out the day of a big fight.
We shall see.
