It was awesome! A lot of chaos after the fight. A big collective "UGH!" when the decision was announced, then the sound of bottles getting smashed.
The best was at the El Dorado pay window, and some drunk DLH fan cursing all of us for cashing our tickets, saying that if we had class we'd tear up our tickets because DLH easily won the first 10 rounds. Too funny. Then the drunk kicked all of the bottles that were along the railing.
Anyone else have a similar experience?

I wonder how Caesar's was. I watched Hopkins-Tarver there and it definitely was the next best thing to being AT the fight. Standing room only, seemed like everyone had Hopkins as a dog (I had the over 11.5).

Sounds funny as hell always, I had a fight party at my house, all the chicks were for DLH but us guys knew better, they were so upset and mad with the decision they all just got wasted arguing how the judges robbed him,,,funny as hell to watch them get all riled up about a fight, they watch boxing once a year for heavens sake!!!. So bottomline night ended with all these mad girls passing out all around my apartment.
All in all,
Great fight, great night, cashed on Floyd.

Not lost in all this was I had a great time, and I am sure that had the decision gone the other way, I might have been breaking/kicking shit as well. Except, I would've had good cause. Really surprised at the DLH support. I would say 1-in-6 were rooting for Mayweather.

Caesar's is the only one I've ever known to pay to get a fight. I would imagine the Wynn might have the $$$ to also.

Alwayswin: Sounded like a great time and I'm sure it made it that much sweeter cashing your ticket. I saw where you got your action down at -160, did the line ever dip lower than that there?

No. I never saw it lower, anyhow. More impressive was the +180 I got on the dec. win. That was sick. Too bad I chickened out and only put 1/6 of my action on the outcome.

In Reno, both the Atlantis and the Silver Legacy showed the fight for free. I guess there was another casino as well. I was told it cost $500K for that licensing right by an employee of the casino.
That's what I was told anyhow, but I can personally verify both the Legacy and Atlantis showed the fight for free. I was shocked as well.

Yeah, I JUST got back from Vegas, and I had a similar experience. I was in Mandalay in a closed circuit viewing, and I'd say it was maybe one in 10 that were rooting for Mayweather. It was extremely overwhelming. Even better that NONE of them were watching the same fight I was. . . When ODH punched Mayweather in that one flurry in the HIP, you'd have thought you had seen a knockout. . . It's like no one was realizing that ODH was whiffing and Mayweather was blocking most of the rest.
I tell you what though, I was ready to destroy something when the first judge announced ODH winning the fight. I figured we were about to see a major screwjob, but all's well that ends well. I wish I had some better stories, but it was what CJ already stated. . . women, drunks, and one judge were the only ones that had ODH winning the fight.
Fullbrights - I never saw it under -170 in Vegas. I had Mayweather -170, Will Go -220, and Mayweather by decision +110 (that line dove hard, it was +130 the day before, I should have taken it then). I did it about 1hr before the telecast started and I had to get in there and get seats, so I can't tell you if the line took a dive right before the actual fight started.

I was one of the drunks and my wife ( soon to be ex ) was the the one hitting me over the head with a bottle.. I don't see what she's upset about I left her 10 bucks in the draw for spending money for the week. .
