His punch resistance is now garbage. His balance has gotten worse. His reflexes have slowed. He's always getting injured. I used to be a big Berto fan. Watching him last night made ME feel old.
Even before Berto hurt his shoulder last night he looked like "damaged goods". I hope he saved the money he made from fighting D level opponents back when he was considered a blue-chip prospect.
What I never understood was how his stamina got worse before he even started taking beatings. (Do yall remember Berto-Estrada. His stamina was good back then) To me the drop in stamina while still in his "prime" is a is a sign of steroid use. The steroids compromised his cardiovascular health. And then of course he had the positive steroid test. He can claim all he wants that it was from a contaminated supplement, but I find it peculiar that he's having so many strains and injuries, which of course is another sign of steriod use.
I have no proof that Berto has been juicing for years, but the signs are all there... Maybe I should ask one of his x-girlfriends about it. "Like raisins"
