Berto V Ortiz II Odds

Anyone know what the odds are I have yet to see anything released.

I couldn't find the Maidana-Alexander odds for a long time and posted my own, but tlml1899 stated several Euro sites had them posted. Start a post asking him as he would seem to know if a line is posted.

Ortiz -180 vs Berto +140

No, I typed them wrong  either way thanks, as I was hurried! Anyhow if anyone thought Berto was -180 shouldn't be betting.

Anyone with analysis or strong opinion? Only because Ortiz is mentally weak (compared to average fighter), it makes this fight a little different this time around. I bet a lot on him at just under +400, but that fight he was hungry and the winner it was assumed would get a bout with Mayweather (if Berto won, Mayweather wouldn't have taken that fight).
I think this time Ortiz is looking to get paid, and just because he still remains physically superior, either his over-confidence or his lack on focus might lead to a loss. This is one of the few times I actually will watch the media and try to see the mind-set of the fighters. Berto took a physical beating, but proved to me he had more heart than I originally thought. I don't think working with strength & conditioning trainer Conte in the short time so far will help Berto in a major way. I believe this fight does serve to his new strength trainer. Ortiz is a quitter, and if Berto is able to keep on the gas and increase his strength just slightly, I feel Ortiz might easily have no problem quitting a 3rd time!

i always assumed that all the bookmakers consulted you first before setting lines. if i remember correctly you are a professional card counter, mma fighter, amatuer boxer with 40 wins and only two draws(debatable) and probably the youngest person ever to win 75k+ on a single fight(holy/tyson) at the precocious age of 20.

you should start one of those gold mining companies. there is only a small percetage of people in the general population that possess your particular talent.

This thread started as opening odds for a bout. I stated at first I didn't know, but named someone who might. I then found and posted but did a typo and reversed the odds. Walktheline corrected me, then I posted if anyone had thoughts or analysis, and I stated a few thoughts of my own.
Now begins a personal attack because... boredom? This forum has some solid handicappers. The info you stated above in its sarcastic tone was information that most was posted in response to "thesoulpurpose" in regards of him calling me out on my experience and what not. After a few back and forth personal attacks, we just let it go and basically post boxing (and other topics with shared interests).
It is apparent you repeatedly repeat the same information about me that never changes. Some would have to question why in this thread you would personally attack a post out of the blue. This would be scary if I was a 13 year old female, as it seems you have more interest in a post I made nearly a year ago, and using the word precocious. I didn't win 8 Olympic Gold Medals, and I doubt I was the youngest person to win 75+k on a fight at the age of 22 (not 20).

For people reading and curiously wondering why a Covers member decides to mock another member on a small simple six post thread in which each post was about boxing, ... then post seven becomes more a sociopath style stalker. Boredom, jealousy (not sure of what), it starts to remind me of Kevin Spacey in "SE7EN".

I'm going to try and analyze why you would post what you did at that time on that thread (why not, I could start a case study on behavior on you alone).
I did reply posts at the same time period to around a half dozen with a few that meant as jokes. I did notice that none were replies to your posts direct or indirectly that I recall. So, after maybe several weeks of no direct communication or attacks leads me to my first conclusion.
C1) You posted using another username and one of the replies you took personally. Unless you used a different computer (Different MAC) with a different IP address, Covers could know easily.
C2) Maybe it was a dear friend of yours I somehow insulted.
C3) Cuckoo goes the weasel.

People forget how bad Kareem's eye was at that time. They saw come National Championship time who the man was. Hayes was phenomenal, but Kareem was all by himself a team!

Also, in 3/ 8/ 71 ali  frazier with the pay per view in the movie theaters. They got 2.5 million each plus the pay per view. It wasn't to smooth as there was problems at the theaters. Riots...lol....The wizard had great players through out the run. Kareem,walton, wicks..hugh list....

I like berto in this fight, the first fight was ortiz's first title shot and he rose to the occasion and berto had weight problems and was not right, to me both guys are overrated, but I see berto being the hungrier fighter here, if he makes the weight comfortably than he should out point ortiz, or maybe even a tko on cuts or swelling, the only was ortiz wins this time is by ko and I do not see that happening.

Exactly 3 years later.  First NFL game was Washington vs Dallas when I was 5, and watched part of the SF vs Cincinnati first Super Bowl. I watched all of Washington vs Miami Superbowl 17. First CFB game was Miami vs Penn State Fiesta Bowl (Although I did watch Penn State vs Michigan before that as my father gave me parlay tickets (lol), and I needed Penn State and won my first ticket $22... then never won again! First major boxing event was Holmes vs Spinks II, but I had no clue what was going on. Tyson beating Trevor was my first when I understood boxing.

Qncyk1: Tout info is incorrect. I was involved in Marketing Plan for Monte Carlo Investments. ZOUK....Yes I was....In this berto fight I think he is going to have the edge just on motivation. If he comes in the way he did last fight he will get caught again. That is a real possibility. I'm sure he is watching film and thinking of making defensive changes but when he gets tagged it could be more of the same. I think where each fighters head is at I give the edge to berto. Should be a good one to watch....GL

Zouk, i really like your assesment of this fight.  i agree w/ you and papa, and I would give Berto the edge as well.  Although, with the way these guys gave a performance like they did the first time.  I'm probably going to wager on the expectations of more fireworks, stay away from a side, and throw my cash on under 12 rounds.

Qncyk1 and Zouk.  I love to get on here and check out others insights.  I've read from both of you, and I honestly believe both of you provide valuable info, and/or predictions, in my opinion.
