So with May Weather Searching for an opponent .. and Mosley now free.. this makes sense.. would be good for boxing.

No more excuses for Mosley/Floyd ... only obstacle I see is Golden Boy keeping this fight and making it for a later date.

Besides betting on Mosley which seemed like such a low betting line -175 I would prefer Mosley/Mayweather 100X more since Berto never had a shot.

wow if this happened this could be the most hypocritical event in the whole of boxing. months after saying that he wanted a fair fight in the ring, mayweather could fight an actual roids user and not ask for blood testing against a pacman who has not been convicted of using and asks for blood test.

anyway, i hope this fight happens although i am not 100% sure mayweather would want to fight mosley immediately who has started training months ago for berto.

The fight looks like it will be in April/May. So plenty of Time for Floyd.

I believe blood testing will be a no brainer as Mosley is a convicted steroid user, so blood testing will NOT be an issue.

Mosley cannot say "NO" otherwise he's ducking Floyd. He has a past track record for using roids.

This is the fight that should have been made BEFORE Pac-man anyways.

I cannot see this fight NOT being made.

Floyd in that range would be my guess.  -200 or so.  GBP can really kick ass with this show.  I already read that Marquez vs. Katsidis could be on the undercard.  That would be a really good fight, IMO, because of the possibility of a JMM decline and Katsidis heart and toughness.

Hope to see something decent on this.  Will likely play Mayweather pretty big.  Mosley&#x27;s weird angles might give Mayweather a little trouble, but I think overall, Mayweather boxes circles around Shane.

I was wondering how the earthquake would affect Berto's performance against Mosley. I had planned on going big on Mosley, but tragedy can produce amazing performances out of some athletes (like when Buster Douglas mom died or when Brett Favre's dad died) and didn't want to be kicking myself watching Berto produce the performance of a lifetime, wearing Haitian flag trunks, out-hustling Shane to a decision victory.

According to ESPN, Berto lost 8 family members. I can't imagine how painful that must be.

Looks like May 1st will be the date for Mayweather-Mosley. Mosley has already said that he'd agree to blood testing, which I'm sure will be used by Mayweather to further disparage Pacquiao.

I'm interested to see the Brother Nazim vs Roger Mayweather strategy matchup. If Jack Mosley was training Shane, I wouldn't give him any chance at all.

Firstly my condolsences to Andre Berto and the tradegy of Haiti. I find myself crying at the TV wathcing some of the stories. A father asking the help of a reporter so that he can lift the rubble to bury his 3 dead kids..Truly tragic..

Secondly Floyd will not fight Mosley! He chickened out of Pacman and he definitely will NOT take this fight...Not a chance..Floyd is about to be seriously exposed as the chicken sh!t rat most people know he is...

[/Quote]Mack if Mosley/Floyd doesn&#x27;t get done and it winds up being Floyd&#x27;s fault..I will have to agree with everyone else and say he&#x27;s a chicken.There is absolutely NO other fight out there to be made, all the names thrown out there were jokes (besides Bradley) then again he&#x27;s showtime at 140 pounds. Mosley and him are equal in weight.. Mosley even taking a 40 % purse will make a TON more than when he was fighting Berto .I think this will be finalized  in a week or two. Any way you slice it there is NO other fight that people want to see besides these two.Sad that tragedy had to happen to make Berto pull out, given the family loss it&#x27;s only natural for him to not fight. Berto pulling out in my eyes makes this a MANDATORY FIGHT, unless boxing wants to go down for the count... this fight HAS to be made.Let&#x27;s hope we get a deal here and fans finally see a fight that we want :)

When I saw they were almost done negotiating for a March fight I was like what the hell? This is so soon, it&#x27;s too good to be true.. most fans didn&#x27;t even expect to see that coming. I was thinking September the whole time then I hear March and say to myself .. wow this is the quickest Mega fight ever going to be made.I still think this is the fight Floyd should have taken the whole time, same weight same everything, would be a shame if this isn&#x27;t made.I cannot see Floyd backing out of this one, simple as this Olympic Style Testing  and 60/40 Purse (same as Shane agreed to against Pac-man). Danno..I stand by convictions on this one. Mayweather does NOT want this fight. No WAY! Style wise Sugar Shane is not good for chicken boy. FMM knows this! Its lose lose situation for him. There is a good chance he losses his 0 and worse still, it would be to a 38 year old... If he wins people will say Mosley was past it.

Watch and see the excuses that Mayweather uses. I don't believe Berto pulled aside. No boxer worth his crust would do that. Considering everything in Haiti and with Berto's background they are valid reasons to withdraw...

I cannot wait for this fight not to be made and for that sh!thead to be exposed as the pathetic piece of loser crap that he is.

I disagree, Mack.  I really think Floyd knows it&#x27;s put up or shut up time for him.  If he doesn&#x27;t fight Shane or Pac, and gets Malinaggi or Campbell, he will be KILLED by the media and public.  KILLED.  The show will tank and I think (hope?) Floyd knows this.  And regardless of age, Shane is a great fighter/opponent.  I will not listen to any arguments to the contrary.  But screw this.  I&#x27;m looking forward to the Juanma/Gamboa show on Saturday.
