I didn't realize the rules of putting the word l o c k in a thread title haha so my other one was deleted.  I broke the fight down there, it's in the penalty box I am guessing.  Anyways, Paul will win this fight convincingly, I think he might even stop Sergio.  Sergio is 35, heavier than ever, enjoying the life and the most success he's ever had, and doesn't have the hunger Paul Williams does.  Plus, Paul Williams is better in my opinion.  He is looking great in camp, and with a full training camp preparing for Sergio this time, he will take it.  He was solving Martinez at the end of the last fight.

I'm leaning Williams but how do you know he's looking food in camp? And how do you know Martinez isn't motivated? He's the one that didn't get the decision the last time.

I know a few people and they are saying Williams is looking like an animal.  He has been sparring with Carlos Quintana for a couple of months to really get himself into the zone of that movement, and he will sit on his shots, use his reach, and expose Sergio's low hands with straight left bombs from the outside.  I think he will stop Sergio.  Martinez will be hungry, but after winning the title from Pavlik he went on a vacation and at 30 days out was weighing 176, his highest ever.  He is 35 and will wilt.

Don't forget, Martinez, despite losing, is the Middleweight Champion because of Pavlik's constant ducking of Williams and then fighting Martinez.

Couldn't disagree more. 

I feel Martinez is the best play in boxing in a LONG while.  He will get revenge and defeat Williams by UD or late stoppage and Williams lack of defense and Martinez's polished skills will really show.

Sorry, but I think you are in for a major loss.

I like Martinez, he is the BETTER counter puncher (makes a big difference in rematches).

Better foot movement, and better defense. We know Martinez can take wars but can Paul? We haven't really seen him since his fight with Martinez, sure we saw Kermit "Leap out of the ring".. but my feeling says Martinez wins this, only way he loses if he gets cut and the fight is stopped and he is down on points.

I love Paul Williams as a fighter but this match up is the worst possible match up for him.

I personally think Paul Williams has the worst promoter and trainers... this guy could of cleaned up the 147 division easily .. making big $$$.

The dope moved up and his career hasn't been the same since.

Williams was NOT  catching onto what Martinez was doing, both men were exhausted.

Martinez didn't get to where he is today by luck, he has earned his spot.

DannoDanger haha I checked your past.  You picked JuanMa, Johnson (you actually had Green until someone more intelligent talked you out of it) and Judah.  Wow.  You didn't post any picks for the last two major events and I am looking forward to your picks for this weekend.  For a guy that talks so much you never post your own picks other than the one weekend I mentioned.  Otherwise it's some incoherant rambling about Bute and Brinkley.  Have you ever boxed in your life?  I will guess no.

I knew Martinez would win but didn't think he's put Williams on Queer Street and knock him the fucc out with one punch.  Wow!

That was a shocker.  Great job by Martinez, and Willliams needs a new trainer.  I decided to only bet 5 units,but I was definitely in shock with the outcome.
