To me the biggest fight that ever happened March 8th, 1971 when Smokin Joe Frazier fought Muhammad Ali. That fight had the whole country talking. They each received 2.5 million dollars for the fight. An unheard of amount of cash at that time. There was no in home ppv at that time but the fight was being shown in different movie houses throughout the country. Tickets for the movies were about 30.00. There was problems at different locations showing the fight and there were riots. Of course Ali was insulting Joe calling him an Uncle Tom and saying he was owned by the white man yada yada yada. So it split the country down the middle. Ali lived to regret his comments about Joe. There was no stopping Joe that night. Ali could not breath without getting that left hook in his grill. It was really awesome and to this day I always remember that fight. Everybody that was somebody was there. I think Pac-man and Floyd will be ok but it won't reach that level. Pretty Boy way to defensive.
