Boxing art the D. 5/21/16

A tremendous venue!. All seats were good seats...outdoors...Well done D. The co-owner was in the front, A jovial looking fellow.

The first fight (6 rounds)featured a local Vegas kid named Haney. Very hard to hit, he does flail around to much for me,but a good show, he won and it is good to see it was on a cbs cable channel.

The 2nd fight (8 rounds)was where i realized the ref was on the juice when he stopped the best fight of the night between Johnny Verde and Joey "boxer" Ruelas, a tuff mofo out of Phoenix,Az., obvious eye contact and interaction for Verdes behalf, His camp thought Boxer was going to lay down easy, a bit more action than Verdes camp thought. The boos were so voiceforus ,and more boos than you heard cheers the whole night. I still am baffled(not really)why they stopped the fight, Maybe you watch the replay and 'splain yourself REF.

The 3rd and main event ,(10)rounds featured the unbeaten russian kid Afif Magmorev?//? MAGMO.....vs another Phoenix kid, "Hurican",

The old skool stance of Magmo ala Rocky Marciano was a joy and you anticipated he was saving to unload, and unload the kid did, but Hurican was never in trouble and put a barrage of punches on lil, Magmo that stopped the bout in the 10th, a tuff lil fk. but his first lost.

The 2nd fight was the best as no one figured JOEY "BOXER" Ruelas to do anything but lay down. Great job Joey, great job D casino.

And it is the first boxing match where there was not 1 fight in the stands. Metro was all over the place.....
