Currently the sixth round on Pavlik/Martinez fight, and it's going according to what I assumed. A close fight with Martinez getting +330 to win by a decision I thought was the best play. If it's close and it goes to the scorecards, i like getting 3-1 odds.

I was at the fight Ring side and let me tell you Martinez runs alot, he is a punch and run fighter which makes for a boring fight. Yes he did win the fight but I just hate when guys hit and run. Martinez couldn't knock Pavlik out he has no power at this weight class and I feel after watching the fight up close if there is a re match Pavlike will cut the ring off and find a home for his right hand. Congrats to the Martinez backers tonight.

Pavlik has a major weakness... he can't adapt during a fight. Hopkins showed an exploited that. Pavlik needs someone that will stand with him and allow Pavlik's hard punches to take effect. I expected Martinez to do exactly what he did. He can't match Pavlik's strength. I also feel although he did move constantly, he apparently did enough to cut both Pavlik's eyes and overwhelm him with combo shots in the later rounds. Pavlik has a better chance against Williams only because Williams is a bigger target, but he had to cancel that fight several times. Pavlik simply doesn't have the speed or versatility to adjust and cut the ring off against a style and fighter like Martinez.
