There aren't as many big boxing cards this weekend as last, but I'm on some underdogs again in action from Tokyo and Belfast on Friday and from Germany & New York on Saturday. Last week was a big dog winning week with Tony Bellew & debuting fighter Jake Bonallie cashing at big odds, so let's hope the dogs bark again!
Kinshiro Usui vs Hisashi Amagasa
Small play on a Japanese underdog in Tokyo Friday evening, mostly based on wiki capping. Quite a height difference of 6" between Amagasa and the shorter Usui. But on one of the Asian boxing websites Amagasa said the weight cut was "a bit tricky", although not as bad as when he fought Rigondeaux at super-bantamweight. Usui seems to have the better momentum since coming back from a brief retirement a few years ago. Small bet on Usui at +400.
Kinshiro Usui (+400) vs Hisashi Amagasa $25.00 for $100.00

Jamie Conlan vs Yader Cardoza
In the main event on the Belfast card on Friday, undefeated local fighter Jamie Conlan has several early KO/TKOs while his opponent Yader Cardoza has been stopped multiple times. Plus I believe that Irish and UK referees are liable to stop fights quickly for fighter safety reasons with the not infrequent incidences of boxers and MMA fighters there ending up in a hospital, a coma or even having died in the last few years. I'll take a chance on the under at + money even in this super flyweight bout.
Jamie Conlan/Yader Cardoza Under 8½ (+120) $40.00 for $48.00

Jake Hanney vs Tyrone McKenna
One undefeated Irish prospect vs another in this welterweight bout. Jake is 5-0-0 and Tyrone at 12-0-1. I'll take a stab on the dog at these odds:
Jake Hanney (+296) vs Tyrone McKenna ~$36.18 for ~$107.09
__
Hirofumi Mukai vs Rex Tso
Taking a chance on this underdog in a regional title bout in Hong Kong.
Hirofumi Mukai (+1150) vs Rex Tso ~51.00 for ~$586.50
__
Josh King & Michael Katsidis
Taking a stab on this bout in Australian that King has more left in the tank than Katsidis.
Josh King (+186) vs Michael Katsidis ~$102.51 for ~$190.67
__
Jack Culcay vs Demetrious Andrade
Andrade should really win this as he has all the advantages on every physical and experience criterion I can think of, but tiny bet on the home country underdog just in case something weird happens or there is a robbery in this world Super Welterweight title fight in notoriously biased Germany:
Jack Culcay (+1000) vs Demetrius Andrade $10.00 for $100.00
__
Curtis Stevens vs David Lemieux
Two hard hitters with a lot of KOs squaring off on this HBO middleweight main event Saturday evening. Lemieux is considered the better boxer and should surely be favored, but you can't say that Stevens doesn't have a clear path to victory, especially if he catches Lemieux early. They've been talking a lot of trash on social media, so I expect fireworks. Not sure if the line will keep going up, but I bit for a smallish bet at this price. Also on the under as I think someone is getting stopped here:
Curtis Stevens (+340) vs David Lemieux $60.00 for $204.00
Curtis Stevens/David Lemieux won't start round 10 (-118) ~$74.56 for ~$63.18
