I think Chavez wins easily.  At this point, Duddy is what he is.  He's 31 and I don't see him improving any more.  He's slow, and not very powerful (despite his decent KO percentage).  Although JCC Jr has more fights, he's a lot younger and I expect him to get better.  He's working with Roach, which can't hurt, and I think he'll  put a pretty good beating on Duddy tonight.  He's a good body puncher and Duddy is very easy to hit.  I'm not sure what I'm betting tonight (if anything), but Chavez ITD at +170 looks pretty good to me.  I think Chavez can beat him up and stop him, but Duddy is a bleeder too, so a cut isn't out of the question. 

I'll have my plays a little later, after I look at some other things.

I'm risking 3 units tonight across five different plays (2 parlays and 3 straight bets):

- Chavez ITD (+170) risking 1 to win 1.7

- De Jesus/Barrera goes distance (+165) risking .8 to win 1.32

- De Jesus (+485) risking .4 to win 1.94

- De Jesus/Barrera goes distance (+165) + Chavez ITD (+170) risking .4 to win about 2.46

- De Jesus points handicap +24.5 (+240) + Chavez ITD (+170) risking .4 to win about 3.27

I stated my case for Chavez before.  As far as the Barrera/De Jesus fight, two older guys fighting at career high weights.  I think this might be a boring, grind it out fight that goes the distance. 

Gold, I would follow Danno/Rich over me here. I really don't have any huge feeling on this fight. If I were playing (I would play small on Chavez points victory). For all Duddy's faults he has got a big heart and neither guy has a huge punch. The problem with the over is that Chavez could easily outbox Duddy and either 1) Cuts cause the fight to stop as Duddy cuts badly or 2) Duddy's corner pull him.

I think Duddy knows this is his last shot and I expect him to show a lot of bravery and go out on hs shield.

I think maybe Chavez @ +120 to win on points and/or

Chavez to win between rounds 10-12 @ +600...
