Kind of odd he got a hometown  decision against Dirrell.. and he only has himself to blame for not knocking out a guy who was dead on his legs for the last 2 rounds.

Why not let Froch and Abraham fight in a neutral country.. don't see Froch headed to one of the worst places in the  world to get a decision (Germany).

Eric's right. I just heard Saureland has offered Froch 1 Million Sterling to fight in Germany. Now that may be rubbish (probably is) but money talks..Froch will either take a big sum to fight in Germany or a neutral venue will be agreed upon. Either way he aint going anywhere..

OH I know he isn't going anywhere, I posted that more to the fact that he felt he was robbed when he got home hooking against Dirrell.

Kind of odd he would think he had a chance with the fight so close.

Probably more because he suffered his first loss and it wasn't in the style that "looked like a loss".

When Jermaine Taylor was spanking him for 11 rounds.. that would have been a bad loss.. but he got the KO in the end.

I think at this stage Abraham needs this fight.. more than Froch .. he cannot afford to lose.

His style bores Americans, and after the stunt he pulled against Dirrell he will never be accepted in America.

Froch can give many fans decent fights due to his odd style, good chin, and willing to slug it out.

If anyone from Europe had a style to please American Fans it's Froch.

I think we know Kessler is done as a Marquee fighter, probably will retire after the tournament is over.

Abraham made his own bed, now must lay in it.

Froch appeals to American and European fans, so even if he doesn't win the Tourney.. he may end up still "The Winner Pay check wise".

If I were Froch I wouldn't take the bait the extra $$  I would fight on a Neutral site and let the best man win!

I agree Rich. There are so many big names and potential matchups at 168/175 that Froch would be mad to except more money now to fight in Germany. The problem Rich is that Froch hasn't made serious money so a big paycheck to fight in Germany must be tempting. He is 32 now, he has been in many wars and sooner or later he is going to look older and slower (even then he does now).

I hope the fight is made in a neutral country but the only neutral country is America. If the fight takes place in Ireland or Scotland/Wales that's advantage Froch. If it takes place on mainland Europe thats advantage AA. I can't see the fight being made in America due to financial reasons. Can these guys sell 15,000 in the States? I aint American but I have my doubts.

It will be really interesting to see how all this pans out. The fight itself is an incredibly difficult fight to call. In an all out war I like Abraham. Say what you like but the guy is teak tough, even tougher then Froch. I think you will see Froch using the jab early doors trying to keep Abraham off him, but Froch is not as skilled as Dirrell and while I see him winning a few rounds working behind his jab eventually Abraham will drag him to the trenches and Froch will get drawn in. I think Froch will win IF he can stay on his feet but I would not be confident.

I would be devastated if Froch pulled out of the tourny. I really think AA will ko Froch, he leaves his hands down and AA has the power to make him pay. I Believe that AA is intriguing to watch because he always has the threat of a ko in his bag. I will be betting AA no matter where it is fought

I would be devastated if Froch pulled out of the tourny. I really think AA will ko Froch, he leaves his hands down and AA has the power to make him pay. I Believe that AA is intriguing to watch because he always has the threat of a ko in his bag. I will be betting AA no matter where it is fought

Mack one thing do you really think Abraham will fight in America after what happened? Not sure if Abraham would consider America "Neutral" at least in his head.

I agree Froch may take this due to the pay check but serves him better if he says let's go Neutral "The U.S" and puts Abraham against the wall.

I also agree this is a very tough fight, I love Froch's  heart but he holds those hands so low granted Dirrell didn't hit him too bad (wobbled him a few times) Kessler did nothing, oddly Jermaine Taylor hit him the hardest.

If I was to choose a style, I would say Abraham because the style to beat Abraham is like what Jermaine/Dirrell did .. (Pure speed) and great foot work which Froch has neither of.

Wonder what the line will be :-)

I will take a hunch and say Abraham (if in Germany) -220.
