Don't know if anybody saw this fight, it was on TSN in Canada for free. Threw a little on Drummond as he was a +1000 UD with a chance, and he was doing pretty well.
There was an accidental headbutt in the 3rd Round that opened a cut over Chagaev's eye and the ref tried stopping the fight after the 5th round but the doctor said he was still good to go. After the doc's recommendation, the ref was still trying to stop the fight until the supervisor told him he could not.
After the 6th round the doctor again says Chagaev was good to go but the ref still overruled him saying he was too injured to continue. Has anybody ever seen a ref overrule a doctor before?
Chagaev ended up winning by a SD but Drummond had beeen coming on strong. I know it was a longshot and i only had a small bet but i still think it was a big
