LOL  cotto will crush gomez, gonna bet the Knockout.  i was just wondering who will be his next fight.   Knock out probably in 6.   Poor cotto, mayweather will not fight him.  Biteh de la hoya won't, another KO there.  he should fight ricky hatton and KO him in 5 and show mayweather up.  Not impressed with mayweather in last fight even though i bet him.  De la hoya almost got draw against him, hopefully this time he has more gas in final 3 rounds.

blazed...You really think Mayweather is afraid to fight Cotto?  There's just 4x the money in a DLH rematch.  I would like to see Mayweather fight Cotto though just so he could quiet everyone up about him being "scared".  I know where my money would be if they were to fight.  Anyone else and it'd be on Cotto...But against Mayweather it would have to be with "Money Mayweather".  Laughing...I can't believe he made that hip-hop song... That was some seriously funny shit.

4 times the money and 1/10th the risk. Floyd knows he has nothing to gain by fighting Cotto, so he won't do it.

I don't know about 1/10th the risk, but your point is valid. 

Saying Mayweather is scared is bull.  Everyone thinks the next guy is the one to beat Mayweather.  1st it was DLH, then Hatton... He beats them and it's oh, well...this guy can do it. 

I agree Cotto is riskier than DLH, but I believe Mayweather would still take him and my money will be where my mouth is if the fight happens within the next year.

I actually think Forrest would be one of the toughest if not the toughest match for Floyd....But there's less cash in that than there is in fighting Cotto.

i would like to see paul williams fight mayweather.   you know that de la hoya had first few rounds of mayweather fight, and if DLH would of had 1 more point on one of scorecards in final few rounds it would of been a draw.   if DLH didn't run out of gas in final rounds he had excellent chance.  he can't match mayweathers speed, but can work him in corner.  now he got father in corner to help him, i hope he trains harder.  i love cottos fighting ability.  he was matching mosleys speed.   i think cotto could beat mayweather, he is hungry and has determination.  it would be a good fight.  he would last all rounds unlike DLH which is older and about to retire.

Cotto should win, but this fight is going to be a good FOTY candidate.

Maybe KO of the year Gomez is not in the same class or even close to Cotto and will get stopped in 5FOTY
