early input suggest this will be a much ballyhooed match-up, I could see a good reason to favor either guy, will wait and see on this one- I Arum is doing his 3 city presser the week before mayweather/JJM ,,says he doesnt want to steal the thunder from that fight but would think much more buzz would be generated for cotto/pacman, certainly a much tighter line

5 dimes has Pacman at -190/+150. I think Vegas will get a big handle for this fight. Not sure who I like yet. Where will the money go? Rafael from ESPN says the money will go Cotto's way. We have a few months to think about it.

cee money , too be sure you know there is no "magic" odds floatin in vegas, for the most part books shops and the locals will be similar to what we see at the various off shore sites, should be a good fight tho, lookin forward too it

He is very, VERY wrong. The Manny suck fest is at an all time high. I think it will settle around Pac -250, which is insane.

I lost when Pac beat up ODLH. Didn't think he would handle the move up in weight, but I guess we'll never know since Oscar had nothing to offer that fight. Third time is a charm. Cotto isn't all that fast, but he does have some serious pop. He also is a notoriously brutal body puncher. Hatton was too to some extent. The one thing that stuck out in my head was that DLH said he landed a good body shot early in the fight and he could here Manny yelp, as if he was hurt. Is DLH full of shit and trying to save face? Probably, yet you still have to wonder.

Had Manny not so easily over both DLH and Hatton, Cotto would probably be a 3/1 fave. He did, so it's a moot point. However, you must wonder if the line is set the wrong way because of the hype going to Manny. You really have to wonder who WOULDN'T of beaten DLH or Hatton on those nights. Pretty much any contender you can name would probably have beaten them, although probably not as easily.

Will Manny use his speed to pepper Cotto and win a clear decesion, possibly stopping Cotto later in the fight? Maybe. Or will Cotto finally put some leather on Manny and give him a taste of true power at 145? Let's hope it's the latter.....

one fight night in vegas....yes there is...simliar to what walktheline said the pacman craze has hit its all time high. Hours before fight night versus Hatton you couldnt get Manny Pac lower then -300 at the MGM and i believe two other casinos yet five dimes pacman was a good amount lower. I beleive the line differences will be the same. I like cotto here and im interested at what the line difference will be then

like you i struck out both times as well. and honestly the both times i saw it coming but couldnt believe it. well this time i dont see pacman winning this fight. during that strech before Cotto lost to Margarito, dlh was going to fight him instead of pac-man in a fight cotto would have easily been the favorite for. to tell me cotto is a dog then could possibly be more of a dog closer to the fight....idk...dan rafeal is an idoit

I think this will be a good fight...and I do think that DLH is full of shit about Manny yelping when he gave him a body shot. DLH hasn't hit anyone that hard in a long time! If ever...

Cotto didn't look that great against clottey, he got hit a number of times and i have a feeling that pacquiao will land a high percentage of punches as he has done his last 3 fights going back to the Diaz fight.

Pacquiao is faster and his punching power is still being questioned...and that i just don't get??? He's going to win this fight by knockout in the later rounds...I don't see him catching cotto like he did hatton.

I've noticed you hate on pacquiao in the past. Why? Not that you have to have a good reason, I mean I cant stand de la hoya...I think by far he is the most overrated fighter in my generation. And I think thats why I don't like him...everybody else worships the guy. So watching pacquiao abuse him for 9 rounds was truly a treat!

Anyway...just my thoughts. Take care...

I think Pacquiao surprises again. Just like the last fights where people discounted him, he's got heart and that's an intangible that I don't see too often. Logically I agree Cotto looks like a good bet but I thought that before too so I'm twice bitten and for those discounting the wins I don't care if DLH was bad or Hatton was lazy or whatever, A W is a W to the bookie. I think Pacman finishes this one again in under 6.

I hope it comes out to that cause I'd love a Mayweather/Pacman bout and if Pacman loses (Mayweather won't lose) then we'll probably have to have a rematch with Cotto before we can get to the good stuff. In that fight logically Mayweather should beat his ass but I gotta say the intangible of pacman should make it interesting.

Sorry for the tangent, I absolutely agree with what you all are saying too, get the line now because come fight time it will be pacman -240 or higher.
