trying to find a line for the Guerrero vs. Casamayor fight, however I don't see any books that list it yet
think they'll eventually put it up? Should be one hell of a fight

Jacobs on espn.com today (his grandmother passed away this week):
My condolances for your loss. I'm sure with a heavy heart there will be more motivation to win this title for your grandmother. Best of luck!
Yeah, it will be more motivation. I know my grandmother will continue to follow my dreams. I know she wants that for me. Her funeral is this Sunday, so right after this fight, I will go see her for my final goodbyes.
I want to be able to bring her that belt. This fight is really a big deal for me.

DAMN this fight is gonna be good! My official prediction is Pirog. Most likely by dec, but a KO wouldn't surprise me. Having said that Jacobs has alot going for him.
Jacobs is bigger (he weighed 175lbs going into the Ishe fight), taller, longer, quicker, and more powerful.
Jacobs has proven to have a fighter's heart. He stepped on the gas when the Ishe fight got tough. He's going to be even more determined now that his grandma just died.
Even though Pirog has more experience, Jacobs has fought the best opponent of the two, Ishe Smith.
I simply think Pirog is too good however.
Pirog has more elements to his boxing game than Jacobs. I love how he seamlessly switches between the classical boxing stance and the American shoulder roll style. He can counter from both stances too. Great defense. He sets up his hard punches very well. He switches tempos. He works his angles well. Good body attack. But most important, he is relaxed and comfortable doing all of this, which tells me he is a true student of the game. Conrast this to Jacobs who has never gone twelve rounds and has too many early round KOs on his resume. Early round KOs don't do much for your development, and can make you too confident in your power. And even though Jacobs has the edge in athleticism, Pirog is no chump(Pirog has a great boxing body)(watch his fight with Kodsoev). This dude Pirog went ten rounds in his fourth fight, which was fought for a Russian title. Pirog and Jacobs have similar KO ratios but Pirog has fought the overall better competition and Pirog's KOs were set up with more intellect. . Also, I read somwher that Pirog is training in California for this fight so you know he's getting good sparring.
When I play this fight in my mind, I see Jacobs winning the early rounds by keeping his distance and workrate up. But somwhere in the fight Jacobs is going to get rocked by a surprise left hook to the head or body. After this Jacobs will get crunk and stop keeping his distance. This will only serve to tire him and open him up to Pirog's beautiful hard counters. Pirog will then begin to pick up his own workrate and win almost all rounds after 6. I'm not claiming to be a fortune teller, I'm simply stating what I see as the most likely scenario. Win or lose I will continue to follow Pirog's career. He's my new favorite fighter.
THIS IS NOT A BIG PLAY FOR ME. I see Jacobs getting the edge in all the close rounds because he's a Goldenboy fighter on a Goldenboy promotion, plus he's managed by Al Haymon.

Do u feel me now? Pirog is the real deal. I can't believe they had Jacobs ahead 3-1 at the time of stoppage. Proof that Pirog was on his way to getting robbed!
