Give me the Armenian fighter at plus odds in tonight's match-up. I can't really think of any advantage Perez has except work rate. Vic seems to be the harder puncher (even at this weight), quicker speed of hand & foot & possesses great stamina for a 35 year old smaller boxer. The only way I can see Perez controlling the ring is by using a stiff jab to keep Vic at bay. If Perez can keep Vic outside his power zone then it would be much harder fight for Darchinyan to win, but Perez has shown that he prefers to move forwards launching many slapping combination punches. Against Darchinyan that strategy should not be as successful, against some other opponents. Perez also has a habit of not moving his head when he moves forward. Against a power puncher (like Vic) that can prove to be very dangerous as well. I acknowledge that Vic has lost some punching power as he's moved up in weight but he still has some legitimate pop at this level of competition. so what do we have
Better speed ....... Darchinyan
Harder puncher .....Darchinyan
Better defensive fighter.... Darchinyan
Higher work rate..... Perez
3-1 ain't bad for a +105 Underdog.... So i'll take my chances
Darchinyan + 105 5 Units
If you think I got this one wrong ..please let me know where.

This whole card is shady as is. First, the Main Event gets scratched cause that fella pussed out.
Now, the Main Event is between 2 fighters where the promoter has options win or lose? Shit like this makes you realize how bad boxing is. MMA ran that dirtbag promoter Gary Shaw out of town and wish boxing would do the same

This is the perfect example of why STYLES MAKE FIGHTS.
Perez had the Perfect style to make Vic look like a champ again. Didn't use his reach & allowed Vic to dictate everything that went on in the ring tonight. What's that sound I hear? I think it's Wlad Klitschko hitting the canvas on 7/2.
