Alexander sucked absolute ass in this fight.  Threw about 400 more punches, and landed LESS.

I never seen a guy keep on throwing punches over and over at a guys gloves, that's what Alexander did .. many many punches missed or were blocked.

I've never seen so many wasted punches, Kotelnik never wasted a punch.

I still say Re-match but I guess Karma is a bitch because Kotelnik got home cooking against Maidana :)

On a side note they need to keep these two Bob Pappa and Kellerman... Jim Lampley needs to GO.

agreed 100% Rich, Lampley and Merchant need to go ASAP, no way Kotelnik gets a rematch, but will probably get another fight on HBO, maybe against someone like Judah or Maidana...

...a side note....I actually like Alexander a lot, and even though he looked terrible, id still favor him over Bradley, and i think with how poorly he looked, he will either be less of a favorite or underdog now going into a match with Bradley, and anything around even money I would body slam my bankroll on Alexander

Of course not, they didn&#x27;t even mention a rematch Keller man did the best interview "HBO allows". I do think Alexander is 100 % better than what he showed, sometimes having to please the crowd and not look ahead is hard. I think he let the KO of Urango go to his head, he needs to realize Urango is a slugger with zero defense. One thing to note when Keller man  asked why he didn&#x27;t take the fight to Kotelnik he said if plan A doesn&#x27;t work go to plan B or C... I really didn&#x27;t see a plan B or C.Kotelnik just has a style that will give him trouble Defense first then counter and attack. Talk about looking ahead.. he had a T-shirt made with Bradley&#x27;s name on it.. I don&#x27;t think Bradley or Alexander will be fighting each other  next, too much to lose for both guys at this point. I would like to see Bradley/Maidana and Alexander/Khan but Khan seems to be taking the money route he will probably fight Marquez instead. Can&#x27;t blame him it&#x27;s a safe fight for him Marquez poses little risk at this stage of his career.

Bradley has faced better opposition and knows how to get off the canvas and win, which is big in this game. I think Devon could beat him, but not right now. He needs to simmer a bit and improve. If they fought next I would take Bradley.

Saw a lot of mistakes tonight. Dropping his jab on its way back to the chamber, misplaced shots, relying on the effect of his power shots too much.

He spoke of game plans a-c during the post-fight interview; didn't look to me he was executing more than one game plan. Great instruction from Cunningham. Dude knows...

After rewatching and scoring the fight with no distractions I decided to score the fight because I had read many people thought Kotelnik won.

I gave Kotelnik rounds 6-8 and round 12. I scored round 9 as even, round 10 as close but edge to Devon and didn't think the last :25 from Kotelnik was enough to give him round 11.

In the replay they said Alexander only landed 17 straight lefts by round 6. That number is definitely off. I saw a lot of straight lefts landing. When I see a left hand go inside the tunnel of glove and see Kotelniks head snap back I'm not thinking the laces blocked the punch.

I also noticed in many rounds that when Kotelnik landed Alexander would come back with long combinations. Granted many were misplaced but a few landed. Enough to warrant him looking better in the exchange imo.

Compubox isn't perfect, but I'm curious...how come those claiming Kotelnik won by "clean effective punching" aren't talking about how many more power punches Alexander landed according to compubox? Practically 30 more.

I don't think Kotelnik was robbed at all.
