The real Sugar (Robinson) fought and beat anyone, anytime, anyplace... And Benny Leonard was a master boxer that used techniques most fighter never did until the 1980's!!! So the great Sugar Ray Leonard was great, but level of competition and always fighting the best every week somewhat makes you ahead on a lbs-for-lbs list... that's why old time fighters get the nod. They didn't fight once a year, but often once a week.
