The referee had no choice but to DQ him. From the start Chaves was hugging, holding, pushing, shoving, dancing and running like a chicken with its head cut off.

It was the head locking, tackling and eye gouging that put an end to the match. I still covered any way. I bet Mayweather was watching and saying that Chaves learned all that coward sh!t from him.

Flight time had nothing to do with what was going on in his head and I couldn&#x27;t see inside there. Once again he was winning on the scorecards w/ 2 points deducted so that says enough as far as the bet but the self implosion was unfortunately even though he deserved to be dqed for the takedown IMO

You know I seen worse fouling in fights and there wasn't even a point deduction. Chavez was holding but at times rios was fouling also. The time they stopped the fight I really didn't see a blatant foul. The ref reacted to rios belly aching more so then anything else. you mean to tell me it couldn't go another round and a half? If smoger had been the ref there wouldn't have been a DQ. Dragavich got into a point deduction fest he couldn't back out of. lousey job by the ref.
