Got any friends who like to rub it in your face that boxing is a dying sport? Slap them and sit them in front of the tube this weekend.
.5* Gabriel Rosado +575
Way too much value to pass up. Let's see how Guerrero reacts to someone capable of defending himself and throwing back a good straight right occasionally.
Definitely more to come. I like Chris Henry but don't know if I can convince myself to invest in either him or the over, which I also am leaning toward. I'm battling a quasi-irrational desire to take some plus money overs. And Kid Diamond getting over 2-1 respect is silly.

Dude that decision parlay would have been sick. The Henry fight was very close to me. I could have seen it either way, it just happens that Mack got the nod. It all depended on what you were looking for.

Good spot, good opponent, and good number on Camacho, but I try hard not to lay heavy juice on young fighters. Very hard to see Cosme going the distance with Angulo, especially on short notice, but I missed the boat on a better price.
2.0* Cruz - Thomas goes distance +130
Fighting in hostile territory without true KO power is always dicey, but I'll skip the classic "corruption play" and bank on a pure boxer being buoyed by his fans in a tough fight. Thomas has been 10 rounds on multiple occasions, and 12 rounds twice, and as Graham points out, the Frenchman's only true KO loss came 5 years ago, when he himself was fighting overseas. If Thomas can avoid a reprise of the Maginot Line as Cruz windmills home, this one should cash.
.5* Darnell Jiles Jr. +400
Probably a throwaway bet, but he impressed me against Lundy and might have a distinct power advantage tonight. Maybe he scores a knockdown in a close fight and that ends up being the difference.
Tempted to play Gilbert SU and the Funeka - Nate U11.5. Anyone considering Muriqi, be aware that he's been training with the kiss of death.

Chased a little too much value last week, then left off DeMarco. On to a new week.

Cruz UD Thomas puts me up a unit on the week, and back in the black on the year. Just going to enjoy the fights tonight.

though week man. For an outsider i saw Campbell winning by a round or by a draw. You can argue Fuenka but all Campbell had to do not to lose was win 2 rounds other then the 2 knock out rounds to draw. Easy........the 12th fore sure and any round other round could have been debatable. No knockdown then Fuenka wins in my mind.
I would have been all in on Martinez and I would have been fucking pissed this week to take a draw. Betting against the druggie was on other play i like. Well better luck man nice rebound hit though.

Sup Cee.
I rewatched Funeka - Campbell last night and had it for Nate by either a point or two. That had to be a tough fight to watch if you had Funeka. He had a gassed out fighter in front of him who could barely string together a three punch combination, then after nine rounds he gets dropped by the exact same punch that floored him in the second. I think if Funeka could have punched with just a little more authority, he would have gotten the nod in a few of the close rounds, and there were a TON of close rounds.
Nate looked like a shadow of the guy who walked through Juan Diaz. I really hope the move to 140 rejuvenates him, because he's not beating anyone decent at junior welter in the kind of condition he was in last weekend.
I was glad for A2C, but Cintron - Martinez was an absolute crock. We've all been there though, my biggest win last year was Toney "over" Rahman.

No rocket science here, just two young fighters in against obvious "showcase" opponents. Frankly, I won't be shocked at all to see Prescott/ Estrada go over, 4.5 just isn't much room to work with. Not dying to lay the big number on either play, but nice value parlayed.

I've got a ton of respect for Adamek, but win or lose, he's in for a rough night tonight. This play is academic. Adamek leaves himself wide open for the right hand. Banks has a very good one, to go along with a pretty accurate jab and better than average power. Having Manny Steward's ear is only a bonus. A five year old could tell you that Banks' best punch is going to be right there for him.
Adamek obviously isn't folding under one shot, but there is serious danger for him tonight if he finds himself in another war so soon on the heels of the Cunningham fight. Banks is also a much better boxer from the outside than Bell (and less of a nutcase), so even with a hand and footspeed edge, I'll be surprised if Adamek can win tonight on class alone.
Career sparring partners can and often do disappoint, so this is just a normal sized play. Bottom line though, Adamek is made for Banks stylistically. The question is just whether Banks is tough enough mentally to stay and calm and finish the job he starts. I think he is.
More plays to come. Huge card this weekend.
