FLOYD FIGHT ALMOST DONE DEAL _ MANNY

Manny said his much awaited showdown with Floyd is 80 to 90 percent sure to take place on May 5, 2011 next year and only a more details are being ironed out before contracts are finalized.

Manny agreed to every test 18 months ago during a meeting with a gag order. When Floyd pulled out, Manny's team spoke and said the meeting never happened but another Mayweather source said they broke the gag order. Look it up folks. So, if they didn't meet, apparently they wouldn't mention a gag order. Also... for those that don't know Roach got sick of the BS and said we will do anything to fight and even regarding the purse, let's fight anywhere besides Nevada.
Floyd hasn't fought outside NV in over 6 years for a reason, and never fought a top caliber opponent outside NV because he uses Xylocaine. It's Lidocaine and used for pain in the hands for fighters. Roach when he fought broke his hand and started the same injections. Roach understands Floyd's use of it, but he felt Floyd is out of line calling Manny a steroid user when he uses a substance for his hands. No, it's not a performance enhancing, but in a way it is. Typically if you had a soft chin and could take something to make it stronger, that's similar. This allows Floyd to punch harder so in a sense taking the pain away allows him to fight better.
Roach's audio broadcast he stated the reason Floyd knocked down JMM but then never tried to KO him is because he didn't want to break his hand. View it how you want, but when people accuse Manny because he is a natural physical freak (so is Clottey but he is never accused of substance abuse because he got ripped of in two big decisions), they have no where else to go.

If Manny was really juicing, did he stop?, because he looked weak in his last fight. Not to take nothing from Manny, but he beat an old De La Hoya, Hatton, Mosley and Margarito. He hasn't had great fights since all the weight moves, Bob Arum has carefully matched him since he signed (maybe he should have stuck with Oscar).

They waited to long, the fight will NEVER live up to the hype just like Mayweather-De La Hoya. Floyd wins 12 round dec. 8-4 most likely, does he retire or stick around for some more money?

Mayweather vs De La Hoya I thought would be a total waste. Oscar showed what Floyd has difficulty with taller experienced fighters. Trinidad vs De La Hoya I told many would be a waste. Styles and timing make fights!
Although I think Mayweather wins, it won't be a total waste as Manny will put constant pressure forcing Mayweather to fight, or risk losing rounds that are equal but usually go to the aggressor.
Floyd wanted to see how exposed Manny would be against a real fighter like Marquez at a higher weight before he took any chances.
Floyd took the same opponents, but Manny went at them like a bull.
Floyd will retire, then maybe when he see's an over-rated fighter, he'll come-out of retirement for another cakewalk. Same as he always has done.

You thought Trinidad vs De La Hoya would be a waste?

Floyd vs. Manny looks like a waste, but free money for almost everyone on covers, fighters need to fight when they are more in their primes, not after retiring, going into politics, starting to act or sing. That is what is ruins the sport, imagine Liston avoiding Ali, Lamotta avoiding Robinson or Leornard avoiding Hearns.

Mayweather should have took this fight over 3 years ago, it wouldn't even have mattered (the steroid use that is) just like when Vargas vs De La Hoya or Mosley vs De La Hoya 2 (I know he lost, but I think he won: same as no one thinks Paul Williams won his last fight) he would have won easily, cause Manny will have a hard time hitting Mayweather.

I wanted them to fight. I felt Oscar would play cautious and give TIto a lot of respect because of his punching power. So, Oscar to this point was known as semi-aggressive, but now at higher weight with a big hitter, he changed styles and I felt it would be boring. I bet TIto and the way the judges are I'm suprised they gave me the win. Besides for a few rounds, neither fighter won many rounds decisively!!!
Mayweather should have fought Cotto, Margarito, Williams, etc,etc!@!

1. What does a little kid like you know about Vegas... maybe you saw a postcard. You are clueless about the sport & business of it.
2. Injecting the use of Xylocaine is illegal in 49 states... read each States Athletic Commission.
3. Proof... How about Mayweather (HIMSELF) stating he uses it without any denial. Also, Roger was known for using it.
While he dismissed hand injuries before his December 2007 Hatton fight, Mayweather acknowledged a history of injuries before facing De la Hoya in May 2007, seemingly contradicting himself:

And I never used to have hand problems until it started happening later in my career as a professional. Now my right hand, my elbow, my back . . . The s*** goes on and on. Also, since you have no clue: injectable lidocaine can be combined with Epinephrine to reduce bleeding in a fighter. Epinephrine is often referred to as Adrenaline. If Lidocaine is combined with Epinephrine , it not only reduces bleeding but can also stimulate a "fight or flight" response. That combination gives you a major increase in energy thus no different than a performance enhancing supplement except this would be called a drug!!!

4.80% of boxers use it? What did you just pull that stat out of the air? Many fighters soak in epsom salt, or use a topical solution... NOT injectable. While it's a fact almost every fighter has a problem at some point (BECAUSE THEY USE SO MUCH FORCE COMPACTED INTO A SMALL AREA... physics & anatomy, learn!!!

7. Manny walked down Cotto! Mosley played survival! Marquez out boxed him the first and last fight, and the second fight was a war and so close I don't consider a victory for either fighter.

8. So if Manny can't pressure... how did he TKO Cotto? Why did Mosley run? Why did he get KO of the year 2009 over Hatton?

9. Mayweather has done everything to avoid any very good fighters in their prime... naturally he wouldn't want to fight a guy that is dangerous and considered lbs-4-lbs #1.

Arum also claims that the fight will be inked later this month.

    The information I posted wasn't secret classified black book operations material as it was in USA Today and many other major magazines. Also, they have much of what I posted on audio and video clips, so it's not like it's hard to find, and it's very hard to say they didn't say something that's recorded on video.
    I'm not stating opinions, but quotes on record from several promoters, trainers, boxers, etc... it is very different if you are asking my opinion about believing what they state. It's fact what I posted about statements as they are on video and they never denied saying it. On the other hand, most are full of BS when they make statements about their opinions and what they think as they are going to express opinions that are pointed toward whatever statement that will pay them the most!
