Question

Someone give me a good reason not to bet Mike Arnaoutis at &#x2B;275.  Rodriguez is a good puncher and he usually makes good actioin fights, but I think the Greek&#x27;s skill could win this fight for him.  He&#x27;s moving up in weight, but he says that he was killing himself to make 140 (I know they all say that).  I can see Arnaoutis popping Delvin&#x27;s head back all night with that jab and Delvin getting frustrated because he can&#x27;t get the brawl he wants.  Anyone love Delvin in this fight?

I agree.  Should be close and competitive.  I would NEVER bet Rodriguez at that price.  He is garbage.  Arnaoutis may lose on points, but he could just as easily look better at this weight and snake a decision.Good luck.

The one concern I have about Arnaoutis is the way he just folded up shop against Ortiz on that HBO card.  I know Ortiz is a different class of fighter than Delvin Rodriguez, but Arnaoutis offered a non-effort and bailed on the fight as soon as he could.  Hopefully he comes to fight tonight.  From what I hear, alot of NY/NJ Greeks have made the trek to CT to watch this fight, so hopefully the crowd isn&#x27;t as pro-Rodriguez as it would seem.

it worries me as well, but I rate Ortiz a much better fighter than Rodriguez
I am one of the few who thinks D-Rod lost to the South African Hlatswayo BOTH fights
Arnaoutis at his best can outbox this dude, but it depends on his will to win
If he gets tagged, hopefully he doesn't fold like he did against Victor
also Mighty Mike was robbed against Tim Coleman

Unless the mob put a big chunk on "Mightly Mike" it is fair to say we lost.  But it was a good fight.  Clearly the over was the play but I could not lay -260.  BOL next week!

Yep... but like I said a good fight and I cannot in good conscious lay that kind of juice on Delvin either so I will take my chance with the dog.  If Mighty Mike picked it up sooner we might have had a chance.

Five minutes into that fight I knew Arnaoutis wasn&#x27;t going to win.  Teddy Atlas gave him the fifth and sixth rounds, but I thought Rodriguez swept the first half of the fight.  Every round was the same.  Arnaoutis barely threw any punches, and Rodriguez just kept pressing him and throwing shots.  He wasn&#x27;t connecting with too many, but he was the agressor and Arnaoutis did NOTHING.  Tough to watch the money burn like that.
