Forest looking old. Mora can take a punch and has stamina. Looking for the upset here..wouldn't be surprised at||an_cheers.gif' border=0>

Mora is 10 years younger....Forest's last three fights have been against boxers as old as he is!

I stand corrected. Vernon Forrest's last FOUR opponents have been as old, or older than he is! The last time he fought a much younger fighter (29-Mayorga), he got wupped--both times, MD and got KO'd. The last time he beat anyone decent (Mosley) was 6 years ago. Mosley has lost THREE of his last eight since then, by UD. Really like Mora's chances in this one.

Also interesting. Mora moving down a weight class in this fight (from his natural weight) Forrest moving UP a weight class for this fight (again, from his natural fighting weight). Hmmmm.||an_fight.gif' border=0>

One more tidbit. Forrest has had surgery on his left shoulder, and has an injured left elbow, which he says "will be better with therapy". GL Forrest, your gonna need it! Too old Last four fights fought Nobodies fighting a much younger opponent with a solid chin Movin UP a weight, his opponent moving DOWN wight Forrest has some problems with his left arm Forest has been KO'd, lately. I just can't see how Vernon is a heavy favorite in this fight. I will gladly take Mora +425. Jmho. ||Peace_5.gif' border=0>

Careful.....Mora not even ranked in the top 15 in the light middleweight division. He has turned down fights with highly respected fighters like Ouma and Taylor, which makes me question his courage. He has never fought a fighter with the pedigree of Forrest. Forrest had a two year layoff from 2003-2005, but has looked impresive in his last five fights. He is 37, but he does not look like an old man in the ring. Mora has only 5 kos in 21 decisions. He is the lighter hitting of the two, the shorter of the two, and the lesser experienced of the two. Do you really consider fighters like Ike Quartey, Sergio Rios, and Carlos Baldomir nobodies? These are fights he has had since his surgery. Mora will not last into the 10th. He'll move around, he'll try to engage, and finally he will get caught. I've been watching fights for 30 years and can't believe the over-hyped Mora even got this fight. Keep your money in your pocket for this one. jmho.
