In this video in 2005 explains why he won't take blood 2 days before a fight. In a way it makes sense *IF* he believed that it made him weak.
Personally if you listen to what he says he couldn't eat or drink for over a day .. because he was already at weight.. (That's the reason why you were weak and tired).
I could see how he "believes" this was the reason though, but in reality he couldn't make weight for the Morales first fight he acknowledges it himself.
You don't starve yourself for almost 2 days ... because you cannot make weight.. anyone would be weak!
Here's the video it's from 2005 after his loss to Morales

Hey toot I believe he needed to be medically cleared to get a license, how they "lost" his record, I don't know. They can lose the vile of blood or store it incorrectly where it's no longer usable but losing the fighter's record is odd.
This seems more and more like Oscar and Arum going at it, there was not ONE peep out of either fighter, no bad blood between the two. Agreements to all of our surprising went TOO WELL.
Then the venue is chosen, and it's the one place Oscar gets to call the shots, did he use this to get back at Arum ? I don't know I know Oscar is a sleaze ball who will under cut anyone.
Seeing that video.. I don't believe that's why Pac-man LOST but I do believe HE believes that played a vital part in him losing.
I've seen Floyd talk crap and such to sell a fight, and Pac-man was always a silent guy until he got into the ring. I believe this is bigger than Pac-man/Floyd - It's personal between Arum and Oscar, which has gotten out of hand.
Seems there is a lawsuit when we've heard not a PEEP from either fighter, all between Arum/Oscar. Maybe they should get in the ring as an under card.
Like I said I've always enjoyed pac-man in the ring, Floyd his B.S outside the ring he needed to do to sell fights because his style isn't as exciting. I've always hated his attitude and ego but he's always backed it up.
Hopefully this can be put to rest and we can watch them fight, personally I cannot see EITHER guy fighting a PPV fight against someone else, would be a slap in the face to all the boxing fans out there.
We watched them set this mega fight up as pac-man fought the fighters Floyd did, and we painfully watched Floyd make a comeback against the one fighter who did excellent against Pac-man.. I think it's time .. we get the fight we were promised.

oh well if that experience made manny think he lost the fight because of blood testing i dont blame him to decline as superstitious as he is...
in my experience, if i believe somethings not right before a basketball game then i really play real bad... or if i feel something is not right then it really affects my game... i dont know if its about good vibes vs bad vibes... good aura vs bad... or something like that... sometimes it can be as simple as wearing the right pair of socks or your lucky undies that could decide a 10 pt output vs a 20 pt output. i mean especially boxing where optimism and mental preparedness is a key factor? i mean as weird as it is i hope you understand my point.
