Go to www.boxrec.com look at the fighter's Gamboa has fought, the details the FIGHTERS they fought, and you will one fighter had a fight against someone who was like 21-64.
Boxing loves POWER he does have that, but being down so many times from fighters with NO punching power or boxing skills, he will be exposed, not now he has another 5-7 fights before he sees even a decent journeyman who they take out of retirement to fight him.
I have nothing against HIM he is being touted for something he isn't! He has RAW power NOT raw talent.
See flash knock downs are okay say got boxers like Marquez against pacman, because Marquez can be hurt or stunned by pacmans power BUT as in the first fight Marquez won every round because he's a technican and adjusted on the fly to Pacman's quick left which in the first round he under estimated the speed and power, but he adjusts just like in the Juan Diaz fight.
Gamboa is not a Marquez and he will NOT adjust in fights, if he had any talent he would fight boxers who will test him and make him better, he's in for the quick payday but I have a feeling he won't make it to the next level the chin and defense are too weak.
You cann bum rush your opponets yes when your opponets fight guys with 0-10 records and 1-15 records you CAN do that.
The mere fact is he is getting dropped by dented rusted tomato cans who are only there to be beat, imagine a fighter who is there to WIN?
I love power too, I've see all of his fights and he has done NOTHING to improve himself except knock people out after getting dropped, looks great when he gets up like a mad man and then decks the other guy, but who is he decking Joe the plumber from Idaho? Bob in accounting? :)
His management is doing a good job of making him marketable for QUICK money ONLY.
Do you guys believe he actually has true talent, if so why are they making him worse by putting him in fights that are expected to last 1 round or so? You need ring experience to get better not first round ko's!
