I&#x27;m trying to find the link, but earlier this week I read an interview with Arum where he said that he&#x27;s backing off the plan to match the two of them this year.  He said it needs more time to build up.  Maybe both of their performances tonight will change his mind.  And HBO was obviously pushing for it, by mentioning it a million times.  And I&#x27;m not sure about how the fight would go.  I&#x27;m not writing off JuanMa because of the Mtagwa fight.  He says he was drained from making weight, and I give him the benefit of the doubt.  Remember, Gamboa has been dropped in the past, and JuanMa has that short, powerful hook that he sneaks in that could give Gamboa trouble.  Awesome fight, and I hope it happens.

In Rafael&#x27;s column from last night, Arum says he wants them to clean out featherweight (not really much there besides Chris John), and then fight each other when the fight is big.
