Guzman weighs in 9 pounds overweight

But the fight is still on WTF? This fight is at 135 and Guzman comes in at 144 but they contuine with the fight.

I got money on Funeka and maynot have bet it had I known Guzman was going to be allowed to come in 10 pounds overweight.I bet a 135-135 pound fight not a 135 against 145 pound fight.This is stupid call the fight off and fine/suspend Guzman

Kind of hard to gain 6 pounds in 12 hours when you been instructed to eat nothing dont you think?

Maybe he was 150+, and drained himself to get down to 144.  Then again, I'm stupid.

This morning he weighed in at 148 and Funeka weighed in at 143. 

And Rich, this also happened with him when he was supposed to fight Alex Arthur in 2008.  The original story from the Guzman camp was that they were having visa issues, but it came out that he was huge and wasn't going to be anywhere close to weight.

I hate very few fighters, but Guzman has been on my list for a while.  I was at his fight with Soto in Atlantic City, and I had the displeasure of sitting near his people.  His brother was out of control.  He was running around the ring like a lunatic screaming.  Security almost tossed him a few times.  And the fight was BORING with almost no action, because Joan was in full retreat for the last six rounds.
