Here we go witth the Mexicans talking rematch. Here's the facts

Dont be a hater its just like Chavez/Taylor 2....a freakin PPV bonanza...This fight has to be made, I dont think Maravilla finishes the fight with another minute on the clock..And everyone saw that, plus the two cuts....

The blood is in the water, and now Julio will be hunting for the knockout from the first bell...Martinez even saluted Julio and all the Mexicans after the fight....They will both be in the best shape of their lives next time around...Should be a good one.

I understand the politics of boxing and promotion and all the other bullshit that goes with the sport, however, it seems unjust that Martinez made only $ 1.4 million (before Pay-Per-View Sales %) to Chavez's guaranteed $ 3 million.

I guess you chalk it up to Arum > DiBella.  It was Mexican Indepencence Day weekend and Bob knew going in that 80% of the gate was going to be Mexican. Not to mention, their fan base in Vegas. But is Jr. really that much more marketable than Sergio? I respect Martinez even more now, knowing that he took the fight just to shut Chavez up.

IMO, Bob will be a stumbling block if there is to be a rematch (He's too greedy)....no way Martinez settles for less (nor should he) the next go around.

One thing I don't think anybody is mentioning is the fact that JR hardly ever let his hands go. He was in position so many times to punch and just didn't do it. Granted, Martinez was decking him with shots all night therefore he was probably gun shy. That said, I don't recall JR ever being in deep danger. If the kid would throw punches and take more chances in a second fight, I'd support it.
