Everybody I talk to seems to think this will be an easy Win for B-Hop but I have my doubts. While I am not a big fan of the style Pascal chooses to utilize. Often times he can look awkward, lunching in with wide shots & fighting only in flurries. I do see 1 clear cut advantage he has over Hopkins.....SPEED. I know many can argue that timing can overcome speed & B-Hop seemed to figure Pascal out by the middle of their 1ST fight. I would not disagree with any of those arguments but.... Here we have a 46 year old fading fighter matched up against a 28 year old stud in the prime of his boxing career. I cannot discount the importance of this fact in any combat sport. I've seen many great old fighters lose it all in what seems like one night, Also we know that a younger Bernard Hopkins would never have lost 2 times to the likes of a Jermaine Taylor. So...Sure Hopkins is the much more experienced & ring savvy fighter but "old dogs seldom learn new tricks" "Young dogs learn many". I know that Pascal must have paid a huge amount of effort to improve his stamina (his obvious Achilles heal). I will be surprised if he gasses out as quickly as he did in their 1ST bout. And don't forget.... This fight is being fought in Canada & judges are often influenced by screaming, partisan crowds. Just call it a Gut feeling but I think the most likely outcome will be Pascal winning a close decision on points. I would also be very surprised if the fight didn't go to the scorecards. As far as what I see as Value would be is
Fight goes the distance -270 ( I bet this yesterday & I see the line has moved substantially) but I made this line -4-1.
Pascal Wins by decision +155
I played both for 3 Units ( not one of my bigger wagers)

Hopkins cracked Pascals code. He knows how to beat him. You cant fix stamina problems. If Bhop stays on his feet, he wins. Hops will be very careful early the first 3-4 rounds and begin to pick Pascal apart...again

The most likely cause of Stamina problems are
1. Muscle Mass (bigger muscles need more oxygen to function)
2. Lack of training & not being in top shape. (do not see this as a factor for Pascal)
3. Nerves..... A nervous fighter uses up a great amount of energy before even entering the ring. Anyone facing a super big name fighter like Hopkins will more then likely be quite nervous before the fight even starts. I think Pascal should be less nervous the 2nd time around & consequently have a little better stamina.
B-Hop talks about Pascal not fighting the entire round. I think that is a classic example of "The pot calling the kettle black" (No pun intended). He looked great against Pavlik because he could keep turning him & creating angles to land solid punches. That is because of Pavlik's straight ahead plodding style. Pascal (although awkward) seems to pose a more troubling match-up because of his ability to move in & out very quickly. And believe me old fighters don't like young quick ones. B-Hop took control of the 1st fight (in the later rounds) strictly because of Pascal's Stamina issues. If Pascal can overcome this one major flaw???, I think he has a very good chance to out point Hopkins in Canada. Can either man stop the other? I doubt it very highly.
