Hopkins vs Pascal Dec 18th Montreal

Who wins?

I don't care how "wily" Hopkins is, PHYSICALITY matters in fighting. Hopkins didn't just look old vs Jones, he looked ANCIENT. Hopkins of course will try to fight dirty inside, but it won't be enough for Pascal's speed and power. After the Dawson fight I now have more respect for Pascal's gameplanning as well, although that can probably be attributed to his trainer. I see Pascal fighting in a similar manner to how he did Dawson, but this time with added pressure. The gameplan has to be to make Hopkins look OLD.

I'm a student of the game and the only way I see Hopkins doing ANY damage is by a short counter left hook inside that may stun Pascal because of its unexpectedness. The outcome to me is a foregone conclusion but I'm anxious to see what weakness the boxing genius of Hopkins sees in Pascal to exploit. Hopkins outright DUCKED Dawson for years, but the week after Pascal beat Dawson, Hopkins was calling out Pascal.

I didn't think Hopkins would beat Pavlik, but Pavlik had slow hands and clumsy footwork, plus Pavlik "didn't fight a young man's fight". Pascal has tremondous athleticism and I'm sure he's capable of "fighting a young man's fight".

Dawson had a rematch clause but it wasn't an IMMEDIATE rematch clause. Pascal is allowed one fight before he hops in the ring again to face Dawson.

This guys early and prime fights should be shown to all young fighters who think one day they may be champion. The guy has it all, when it comes to offence,defence,preparation,chin,stamina,wits,charactor,gameplan and not blowing his money. To see how great this guy is and was put in Hopkins vs Echols #1. I still think his KO over Lipsey was if not the greatest reaction KO combination I have ever seen.Did he ever really lose a fight ,other then R.Jones #1?

Was using the Echols fight to show Hopkins skill set at the time.

Echols was on Steriods and cocaine. thats why he can't win anymore due to abuse.
