Horrid week for me

First I lost a tennis parlay when Andy Roddick lost to Lukas Kubot as a -3000 favorite.  Payout lost: +$520

Then I lost an 11 pt tease when Mizzou blew a 12-0 4th quarter lead, only to lose 27-12 and not cover the 14.  Payout lost: +$650

Then I lost a big boxing/collese football parlay when Linares lost as a -1850 favorite.  Payout lost: +$1050.

Lost another boxing parlay when Juanma Lopez couldnt win inside distance at -700.  Instead the +900 decision hits.  Of course.  Payout lost: +$1350

RedSox Gm3 -135.  Blew 5-1 8th inning lead, lose 7-6.  Payout lost: +$600

Bills moneyline blows up NFL parlay, lose at home 6-3 to Browns despite holding Derek Anderson to 2-18 passing.  Roscoe Parrish, the human turnover, the culprit.  Payout lost: +$1250.

Mind you, these parlays were all 8 to 10-teamers lost by 1 game each.  I can live with the NFL losses, and even the RedSox choke job, but Roddick losing to that tomato can, the 27-0 4th quarter by Neb vs Mizzou, and those ridiculous boxing results just defy logic.  Amazingly, when my wkend was said and done I only lost $400, which is fine, but my payouts were so close to being massive.  I dont often parlay massive favorites unless I feel they are stone locks.  Apparently stone locks no longer exist either.  There's nothing worse than hitting the games that are -175 and losing on the one that is -2000.

Thank you, monday morning QB.  No one on this planet thought Linares losing that fight was even a remote possibility.  Everyone is an expert once an outcome has been decided.

It sounds like you think all your losses were bad beats. None of them were bad bets and none of your wins were lucky.

None of them were bad beats?  What IS a bad beat to you?  Mizzou +14, up 12-0 in the 4th only to lose 27-12 on a last minute meaningless TD isnt a bad beat?

Red Sox blowing a 5-1 8th inning lead with Papelbon on the mound isnt a bad beat?

Roddick suffering the worst loss of his career isnt a bad beat?

Jorge Linares suffering the biggest boxing upset of the year isnt a bad beat?

What planet are you living on?  I'm over the losses, just thought they were ridiculous enough to be shared with others for the comical nature of the defeats.
