Do people buy his fights to see him lose...his next fight I will be surprised if it does well.  He could fight another 10 fights and he will still be unbeaten.  He style is unbeatable but to me is the most boring fighter ever.

He has great marketability, and yes I agree not exactly the most entertaining fighting style. People attract to charismatic people and that's exactly what he is. Feel sorry for those who paid for this. Just me .02

He's been fooling people for years.  And he'll continue to fool people

If people are frustrated with his style, the next fight he'll do just enough to show people he'll fight.  But no more.

Like he didn't take the Pacquiao fight until nobody cared any more.  Then he makes sure he cashes in.

Just watch mma.  There's no running from your opponent there.

Is "Money" Mayweather killing boxing?   Not by himself, but he's definitely hurting the sport.  Certainly less people are interested in boxing, after that match.

What happens is, $ has gone to his head.  He thinks about himself, and that's it.  He doesn't care about his fans, he says he thanks his fans but that's bs.

not a big fan of Pak Man either, he didn't show up.  Just told us about Jesus

"Money" at least showed up, gave Pak Man his shot.  Can't blame him if Pacquiao didn't show up

He was walking into the fight of his life and his trainer was taking a selfie

You'd figure he'd do this after he won the fight.  But he doesn't have much of a brain

so Pak man fans are upset about the interview after the fight, where max kellerman asked him if he thought he lost, and Pak man said he won.

if they're upset, that country is a disgrace.  their fighter didn't show up when the whole world was watching.  their golden boy either lying or an idiot

Mayweather sells because Oscar passed the torch to him, also people look up to him as a hero (what a joke) if Boxing had a Mike Tyson like HW, Floyd would still be Pretty Boy, maybe filling Grand Rapids arenas if he was lucky. As they say in life easy come easy go, so when Floyd and / or Manny are broke I won't feel sorry for either, if fact I hope they retire, since they cherry pick and duck the best at their weight.

Mayweather's a con artist.  And people got conned.  And they'll continue to get conned by Mayweather.  And by politicians, lovers, businesspeople, everyone.

This never changes. And never will.  Most (not all) are too stupid to figure it out.

There was some late sense that the fight was overhyped.

I saw the lowest price tix prices go from $5000+ to under $2k before the fight

Watch mma.  That's where the action is at.  If boxing's not dead, it's headed there.

I disagree about MMA.

MMA can be just as boring because "holding" is actually allowed in that sport. Guys can spend the majority of the round on the ground.

I'm not that big a fan of MMA either because it seems like guys can't hold onto titles for more than a few fights.

The last of the great fighters are done like GSP, Silva, and Bones Jones.

Like Lesnar came in, won the title, then got bounced by Velasquez in like the next fight. Then Velasquez dropped it his next fight to Dos Santos or something. I don't follow too closely, so I apologize if my timeline is wrong.

Honestly, the only person I like seeing in MMA is Rousey because she's so damn good, but she's beaten everybody already so there's not much to see.

Ronda hasn't fought Cyborg yet.
That fight would be more interesting to watch than Mayweather vs Pacquiao.
