I agree with you..
ive made good money betting against kimbo, my book doesnt have the odds out on this fitght though unfortunately.. kimbo couldnt beat any of the even D to E level boxers in his weight class, he has no real boxing technique or experience for that matter..

Funny thing is before Kimbo got beat there was rumors him and Tyson would fight, pretty sure Tyson was gonna be an underdog, people he could KO him. I would have made a big stack on that because I watched his street fights on youtube and knew Tyson would have him out in about 30 sec. Turns out the guy who KO'd did it with one foot off the ground (I think it was the first punch), Tyson at his worst would have still been one punch KO, power is the last thing to go and it would have been with 4 oz gloves, he might have had to retire.
Sad thing is in the current heavyweight division, if he had a good trainer, he could probably get a title shot (he would have to be carefully matched, of coarse like Tyson coming up or Foreman in his return). I still wouldn't mind watching Tyson destroy him (I wouldn't pay to watch).

Zouk never seen the boxer with the glove (what was he thinking), the old UFC was alot better in those days because each fighter had a different strengths and someone like Tank Abbott could win, so Tyson would have been fine in those days, when he was looking at MMA (in 03?), I remember he was gonna fight Bob Sapp, at that point of his career he was no longer a game fighter, so he would have gotten beat. Now against Kimbo, Tyson wins even if he didn't train, he has been groomed as a champion fighter since 13 and Kimbo is just a big street fighter. All the UFC fighters now are so well rounded in MMA that a boxer who just trains for hand to hand combat with no take-downs, doesn't have a chance ( 2 completely different sports with different stratagies to win), James Toney got killed (They should have matched him different (Ken Shamrock, still would have lost) and his fat ass should have trained better and longer before talking all of that shit), Toney wasn't the best rep. for boxing (40 year old, fat, out of shape, way past prime) so that fight went the way it should have, no one should ever make the change from boxing to MMA, just the same as a NFL player shouldn't try to play basketball. A couple of years ago Floyd Mayweather was talking about fighting in the UFC, he would lose of coarse, but if someone like him or even Tyson trained from childhood they would be succesful because they have all the traits it takes to be great.
Back to Kimbo, if he ever fights a top level fighter, I will watch, because I always love a good KO.
