I will elaborate. He just mugged guys with his holding and hitting nonsense. He beat guys that were finished and past their prime. He is nowhere near a top fighter. People that thought he had any chance to win tonight were comical to me.
He can make his $ because of his drunken fan base that supports him but he is not a top fighter

You have a good eye NJD,   That is the same assessment I had of Hatton when I saw him fight.   He would rush in, throw a couple of punches then hold his opponent until the ref broke them up.

This was a nightmare matchup for hatton from the start.......there was no way he was going to stand in front of Pac and not getting KO&#x27;d......hatton has made a career fighting people who will stand in front of him and punch without moving.....and that isn&#x27;t pacquio.....that is why I would worry for pacquio fighting floyd. He struggles with fighters that move.....floyd would stick and move pacquio to death.....I hate maywheather but just couldn&#x27;t see him losing that fight.

nuttyrich is right about the lifestyle but also remember he was never defensively sound and that was always a problem (that fight he had with Jon Thaxton almost cost him his career!) and after the plastic surgery and the weight going up and down his skin looked stretched out over his face...

But in closing he should retire but he will have at least one more fight in Manchester where it all began

At his peak, I think Hatton could fight with pac man for maybe 8 rounds, maybe and hold his own (no more then that). He was a good fighter but you cannot beat a fighter of Pacman&#x27;s quality living the lifestyle he has. I think if you have that ability you should live a life with little treats until you retire, instead of literally p!ssing your god given talent away. Thats just my opinion. &#xD;&#xA;My god look at B-HOP. Like or dislike the guy you have to give him enormous credit. He is probably one of the the fitest 44 year olds ever. Can you imagine Hatton at 44! &#xD;&#xA;Pcaman v mayweather won&#x27;t happen. Floyd will fight anyone but pacman. trust me..
