Just a thought on the props. I don't see many clinches with headbutts, or a likely possibly of cuts or swelling stopping the fight. It appears this fight will go the distance. I would suggest trying these props as is or middle them to how you prefer.

Will Calzaghe Win by Decision ? Yes -112 (1 Unit)
Will Hopkins Win by Decision ? Yes +395 (1 Unit)
If Calzaghe wins a decision you break even. If Hopkins wins a decision you win +2.83 Units.

You can middle the fight prop odds.
Will Calzaghe Win by Decision ? Yes -112 (2.3 Unit)
Will Hopkins Win by Decision ? Yes +395 (1 Unit)
If it is a decision (and no draw),
    Calzaghe wins +1.3 Units
    Hopkins wins +1.37 Units

It is a 3.3 Unit risk to win 1.3 that it goes to a decision and you don't have the draw. I just figured I'd post it, just incase someone was more favored in one area, they could hedge it accordingly. GL
    BTW - March Madness (80% +23.3 Units)

You don't expect Hopkins to clinch, butt, elbow and rabbit punch as much as he can get away with?

This fight is expected to go the distance, that's why it's -300. But there is a very good chance Hop will get frustrated by Calzaghe's volume and realize his only chance is to slow the pace and frustrate him. Hop is not going to win a boxing match here, this will be a mix of UFC and MMA.

Did you see Winky's eye after his fight with Hop b/c of a heabutt? And you really want to risk all your plays on the notion that he won't flagrantly cheat again? In his hometown against a foreigner, under his own promotion?

I agree, Hopkins will fight a rough fight as long as the ref allows it. A cut is NOT out of the question!

If you're betting both sides of the line, you may as well just play the over. You're safe on a stoppage in the last half round or a draw.

I caught the "countdown..." show on HBO last night and saw Hopkins lifting weights in prep for the fight. He's 45, right? There is a slim to no chance he gets knocked out by Calzaghe also slim to no chance he wins this. As many a boxing fan knows, lifting weights is NOT an appropriate method of training. It makes one slow and muscle bound when one needs to efficiently throw blows with a raised heartbeat. Those of us who have laced up gloves know just how exhausting even 3 rounds can be. There is a decent chance his corner will throw in the towel after 5 rounds of fast and furious punching from Calzaghe.

How does this add up in the prop shop?

Makes that decision prop look awfully bad. If the fight is called TKO it's still a KO in the books. Don't be surprised to see it tonight.

I've never seen a stoppage on cuts or swelling in the final round of a championship fight, and I didn't expect either fighter to get hurt. The odds went to Hopkins +450 decision. I played it Calzaghe -112 on decision, but I was just posting for anyone who wanted the over. They would end up with 1.4 return on a 3.2 units bet (if they bet it correctly). The Draw is where I would have been concerned about doing that wager (but the Draw, which happens when there is mostly likely a rematch or trilogy, and not by accident). I agree that in most instances, it's better to go with the over itself, just not in this case. As for the other posters on a stoppage (TKO or KO), apparently you haven't watched enough Hopkins fights. Watching the Countdown on HBO is an advertisement, not a good analysis.
