I just want to tip my hat to the guy for a second, though he probably derserves more. His career has been quite a ride lately. After getting blown out by Demarco in probably his first high profile fight, he seemed to have answered the call, and been quite impressive, winning by KO/TKO in his last 3 wins, aside from his one lone loss to a guy named Kilmov, who frankly I've never heard of.
On his list of recen wins is Mickey Bey, who is a very solid fighter from the Mayweather stable, and Molina did come from behind to stop Bey in no-quit fashion.
If I had the proper foresight, I would've guessed his fight with Lucas was going to be the FOTY that it turned out to be. Knowing Molina and Lucas it would have been easy to imagine the warrior like display. The fact Molina was essentially outrun by Lucas is a testament to Lucas' skill and determination, though, Lucas has always had my kudos.
But here's to John, a hometown kid that grew up not far from where I did, many good paydays and healthy years to you sir, you are truly good for our sport.

Broner was supposed to fight him. Then pulled out and chose Carlos Molina instead. Lucky for Broner. because John Jr would have completely decapitated the kid.

DEFINITELY Broner avoiding. Thank Al Haymon for that.
Like i said John Jr would decapitate him. I know it. Broner knows it. Al Haymon knows it.
Also Broner has already been completely exposed by Chino. Hes gonna be Andre Berto 2.0 but with MUCH less heart
you know I really can't stand Broner. he is an obnoxious Floyd wanna be. But that being said he took a tremendous beating vs Chino and didn't quit. He did throw some drama in there with the rabbit punch but he did not quit. He had many reasons to quit with the body pounding he took but stayed in there. He has some heart for sure. He is going to pick opponents that are light touchs for awhile. Lots of fighters do that though. Ask Floyd.

Floyd is a tremendous PPV draw. A veteran in the sport. A promoter as well as boxer. he can do WHATEVER he wants. He runs IT.
Broner on the other hand. Wouldn't sell a PPV if he tried. That being said. He doesn't have the luxury to pick the soft touches because his entire record has already been just that. Fighting guys WAYY smaller than him.
He has no choice but to fight the top dogs at 140 to stay relevant. I doubt he goes back to 147 because there are some heavy hitters waiting for a punk like him (Thurman, Porter)
